I bought a unit at Lacosta, plan was to rent it out. As the place will be ready soon, wanted to check the market rental price within the area but it seems there are tons of unit for sale/rent at A'Marine hence I believe rental is still a challenge in the area, probably area is still new? Hope I'm wrong else have to hold the property for a while, flip also cannot because of RPGT

For Geo Residence, is there a rm100 maintenance fees for the lake/south quay on top of the current unit maintenance? Is the owners of Nautica and A'Marine have to pay as well for the lake maintenance

Just curious, was nautica or a'marine completion delayed? Reason being LaCosta VP has been delayed for 4-5 months, and keep on delaying? Thought Sunway projects will not have this sort of issues or even if delay give an accurate completion target date

Haha... Agreed about the LD... Its good
But there are cases, where the developer can give a hard time to the buyer, delaying tactics etc, when claiming LD, was reading an article on star last sat under "Land & Property". Hopefully Sunway are not those type of developer...

Workmanship is generally ok, but some things were not acceptable like water leaking at bathroom ceiling (whole plaster broke and fell at that section) and walls leaking around the windows after heavy rain (probably water proofing not done at the outside). They are rectifying it right now so lets see. Place is really nice though.

So far occupancy is very low, probably less than 10% and mostly families...

Not too sure about subsale, bought the place <600 psf and see people trying to sell on property website between 750-850...

Sunway paid.. handsomely

Actually don't see any path made to BRT from Lacosta as its at the other side with Geo and all. Not sure how resident from a.marine, nautica are going to access as well, Lacosta is even further..

Access to the lake is also at the other side near Geo, when I bought sales pic said can access in front of lacosta directy to lake..

Yeah, I heard about that link from Taylor's lake side to SSQ.
Konon there is suppose to be a shuttle service from these condos to all around Sunway area.

Think BRT should do well as there is connectivity from the Geo Residence, the new malls, hospital and from SunU and Monash... Be tough for Lacosta as its a bit of a walk and yet to see the access from the small roundabout to BRT..

Looks like Geo Residence will have the best access/connectivity based on this plan
