7. Try el merkat restaurant(Western), the food is GREAT and price also not expensive.. youre willing to pay for the price..

FYI.. do take note when you at beach.. as I collected few item which someone drop it while play at the beach which worth (400++ USD) and whole journey I collected coin from road 20,000 IDR
*
el merkat food is good.. as owner is from Spain and the staff seem to be professional chef.. try the carbonara with egg york and addition cheese..

if you kutip 400++ usd item.. it almost can cover your whole trip expenses..

Hi, all im travelling to Bali next month and arriving at 10pm plus minus. May I know what is the best way to travel from the airport to Seminyak at that hours? Not planning to hire supir for now as planning to just chill around town.

Thanks in advance smile.gif

1) Activate your data roaming.. (If you didnt activate you might have difficulties to access internet to order go-jek, and you might need to purchase local sim card which cost RM 70++ at airport but you can purchase the same data at local store for RM 10-20.)
2) download go-jek (grab) - should cost around RM 10-15. (If you get a cab at airport it will cut your neck around RM 50++

local informed there also a bus(kura-kura) which it very cheap as per locals comment.. unsure the drop location, you can ask around once at seminyak..

If you have malaysia drivign license for bike.. then you can rent a bike and go around.. (make sure you download the ACT in hardcopy incase the police want to minum kopi.. they will ask for IDR 500-1mil but you can pay off for IDR 50,000.. best not to keep all money in your wallet..

What ACT ya? Is it this agreement - http://www.asean.org/?static_post=agreemen...pur-9-july-1985
The peak season is July to Sept when it is winter in Australia and generally crowded. Weather in Bali WAS supposed to be the best too. However, wasnt the case when i was there 2 years ago - rained so much in mid-July but last year in early August, weather was great. My supir told me that weather in Bali is totally unpredictable these days and Dec/Jan which used to be rain heavy months also not the case.

yes but better get with official Indonesia language.. just in case they buat bodoh dunno how to read..

wow...ok. for jimbaran im planning to go to this lia cafe for dinner.
got any other restaurant recommendation?

You can start survey from here.. On row of seafood facing sea.. charge 6-10% service charge... best to self pick seafood at counter.. if you order set.. it might be costly and small portion..

Jimbaran seafood, Jl. Bukit Permai No.5A, Jimbaran, South Kuta, Badung Regency, Bali 80361, Indonesia

can anyone recommend which jimbaran seafood restaurant I should go? Budget below 1mil IDR for 2 people. Too many choices, driver suggest me Ganesha Cafe, but i checked online review seems not really good.

go to this area.. dont pick set,, just order ala carte.. roughly ard 300-500k only.. if you go upper jimbaran.. all set is 900k above and portion is small +25% service charge
