I read that half day usually sufficient to cover ubud and surrounding.. if that's the case, i might not overnight in ubud...
just hire driver on day 2 to ubud and back kutu/central

for central area, do you recommend driver or can i just take grab to cover rest of area..

some background - will be travelling with 2 elderly and 2 young children to Bali this coming January for 4 days 3 nights. Will likely stay around seminyak/Legian. Will be engaging a driver but likely

The itinerary is still in progress but main interest will be uluwatu and tanah lot. Not exactly sure about Ubud yet as we prefer not to rush all over just for attraction.

Trying to get opinion on the following
1) there is only 3 sunset and wonder which area we should spend it ?- uluwatu, tanah lot, Jimbaran, ayana rock bar or other suggestion
2) Malioboro, naughty nuri - are those restaurant still good ? or is there any other recommendation ?
3) shopping - sukawati art market, Geneva, Krishna , any of those places is a must go ? is there a huge variety difference between those market compare to those at Popppies lane? -edit - forget to mentioned i will be spending few days in BKK too and will be going to chatukchat. which is why i'm not sure if it worth to explore all the other market here
4) Around Seminyak - any recommendation for massage (2hr+)

view yes but food was meh to me that time (buffet style)

if the highlight is the view, why bother having a crappy & expensive lunch there

there are much better lunch option elsewhere
