Most probably its hardware error, but to confirm, you can run an drawing app then turn to landscape mode, see if the buttons are still not responsive.

What is your SMSC configured to?

Last time I have the same issue with DiGi, where I accidentally WIPED out the SMSC in the #*#*INFO thing

I am having 07910681010001f8 for umobile here.
