Hi guys.. New owner for bb Q10.. I was wondering.. is BB10 have Hybrid or somesort? if not.. How to upgrade the OS? Is it manual like the legacy OS? Apploader or is it OTA?

Ive been using legacy devices for a while now.. Upgrading to OS10 feels weird.. Need to do homework. Haha.

I used hybrid most of the time prior to BB10, but for now I suggest just to use the leak that has been tested by many users, here is the current one, its pretty easy to process

Lol. Same as me dude. Ive been using hybrid since bold 9000.. until 9900. Haha. Now im switching to BB10 feels awkward.. but damn. The gui is awesome.

Thanks anyway for the link.. and quick question. Im using celcom prepaid. How to get activate LTE? I've change the network option to 4G.. but all I got is HSPA+. Is it coverage problem? Or I have to change sim card at celcom center and ask them for new sim card.

I want to answer two of your threads, but I'll answer this one first.

Assuming your BB10 is LTE ready, then yes, you need to go to the Celcom centre to get a SIM card replacement.
Also, if you don't like the GUI, you can always install the NOVA launcher (free punya lah) from, erm... say, sources like SNAP / 1Mobile / Amazon APK store. (i strongly suggest you try SNAP, since Google Play Store is not available)

On your earlier post about OS, BB10 does not have hybrids, but you can always check out the CrackBerry "BlackBerry Leaks" team, they are always "leaking" builds left and right. Do some reading first though before deciding to jump whether to use the leak or not.

Thanks dude. I've the options to use 4G & 3G in network option setting. Thats mean my Q10 is LTE ready.. so i assume i have to get a SIM Card replacement. But i checked Celcom page, i dont think i will get any LTE coverage around my area. biggrin.gif

Haha. About the GUI.. Its damn smooooth. I like the native GUI.. Blackberry did a good job. notworthy.gif

Lol. Already installed the 10.2.1.1055 Leak. So far all the i didnt get any major bug.. just a minor one.. although i can fix it by doing reboot. No random reboot. Its all good. rclxm9.gif

Thanks guys. thumbup.gif

bro, after dl from mega, how to install it?

im using q10

Sorry. I didnt open my account for a while.. Like other said.. just extract the files.. you'll get a .exe file.. close the BlackBerry link. ( you may want to backup beforehand) just click the .exe file and wait for command prompt to open.. your BlackBerry will flash a green led.. DO NOT DISCONNECT USB. just wait until your BlackBerry restarted.. Voila.

Some users stated do not restore backup from BlackBerry link.. may cause some bugs.. you can use fire chest backup to restore calendar and contacts.. they also said.. do a reload.. security wipe.. reload again for fresh install.

Enjoy.

What a bummer. sweat.gif

Even on Xpax website literally said i have to change the SIM.

Imo.. less bug than 1055. I can reply fb and twitter from the hub now.. last time I used. 1055, I cant seem to reply twitter on the Hub..

Smooth. Faster reboot. Crackberry said android app runs better than before but I cant confirm that. I didnt sideload any android app.

They said there's a bug where when you opened a sms.. its taking a long time to load.. I didnt notice that..

Meh. Everything is good on my side. Just that damn twitter bug.. sometime you can reply from the hub.. if cant, I have to open the native twitter app or reply from the homescreen.. another one is I cant delete FB msg. Already delete the original msg on FB website.. idk why. The only fix is un-snyc the account and re-sync it back..

Other than that its all good. Didnt experienced anything.. yet.

Im using outlook.com as my email.. so, restoring contact, calendar and task is easy..

Lol. Come, join the 1925 bandwagon. But I like the 1925 w/ 1899 radio.. the signal is much better on my office.

With 1925 w/ 1926.. I kept getting signal loss.

Im using celcom btw. And my office is near the celcom kg bharu HQ. Lol
