Shibuya Rin up for PO...I know some of you guys here were looking forward to this,so order away...

Damn Amiami...I normally assume the ones on on their homepage are the ones just put up for PO...I guess Shibuya Rin got bumped up again because this one is up for PO...

I only have a couple of Griffon figures, so I can't really judge...But I really like the ones I have...Especially this one:


Absolutely ADORE her... The paint job on this made me fall instantly in love,especially the purple...Not glossy,but not matte either,not sure how to explain it... That said,I have to agree about the same horrible base for every single one of their figures...

Nice...Do you have the other Sabers from this line...? I'm missing Saber Alter,and its proving to be impossible to find for my budget...

Hate to admit this,but your gf has more guts than I do...Its not that this figure creeps me out or anything (actually,its really cool), but I don't think I can display this with my other sweet and innocent Mikus...

Very nice...I love the way you made it look like it was 1/1 scale...Actually looks like she's licking the milk off your house floor (bet you wish it were true)...

I was hoping for a proper scale pvc of this, but I'll take it anyway... It actually looks pretty awesome for a prize figure...The face looks a bit loli-ish, but I think it adds to the charm... The figma was very enticing,but I'm not really a big fan of figmas...Glad at least Sega picked this up...

BTW,the back is absolutely gorgeous...

A base like Miku:World is Mine would be nice...Agreed that 20k is not cheap,but it translates to about 5k for each figure,which I think is reasonable...Besides,if you buy each separately, it comes up to about 30k yen...

Due out next month...Personally,when it comes to figures,I don't think bigger is always better...I can think of so many other figures,even 1/10 ones that I'd rather have...The biggest I'd go for would be 1/4 Freeing bunnies...with the exception of Gundams...Even 1/1 scale Gundams are perfectly justifiable...

I second that...I used to think that scale/size=price...But lately,i've come to appreciate the amount of details and attention that goes into making figures like this...If the end product is as stunning as the promo pics lead us to believe (pls,pls, PLSSS don't fak up the QC,Koto...!!!), then the price is perfectly justified IMHO...

Madoka was one of those overrated figures with bloated prices...But I think the price drop was a mistake on GSC's part...Overestimated the demand and simply made too much... XD That said,as much as I don't like Madoka,I couldn't resist the price when she bargain binned at HS...

LoL,its nice being rich isn't it...? As for me,I just got up early and PO'ed before it sold out...Come to think of it,she probably sold out so fast because local retailers you're throwing money at ordered in bulk...

I know there are a lot of Griffon "fans" here,so thoughts on this 1/2.5 scale giant...? Just curious because they're also releasing Asuna in this so-called Super Figure line...
