Huh artbooks and manga are rare, ironically, but merchandise = a shitload of them... Anime mugs, tumblers, DVDs, files, keychains, bags, etc. The Mugs for almost RM 40 each when i doubt their authenticity (although there a few very nice ones, and whether a cup is original or not doesnt matter). An authentic mug is also RM 40-50 online, why should i pay equally that much for a 3rd party one? If it were half that RM 40 i might have bought one or two, mugs and glasses doesnt matter. I have custom designed mugs before - design your own and have it made, from a supplier to sell things in an event in campus, and the cost of making them is less than RM 10 each when you do it in bulk, at least 100 units.

Anime DVDs with our "Tulen" stickers going for RM 5 - 10, i also "Tulan".. I rather download myself, and get HD quality...

Yeah, at most they are just 720 X 400.
I do have Slam Dunk in my hdd, 640 X 480, no HD for oldies (300+ mb per episode despite 480p, high bitrate) . My 7 TB of space will probably last me only another 6-8 months and i need to buy more, especially when you have things like, my 25 episodes of Fate/Zero 1080p total up 47Gb. . Painful, considering i need to watch my budget also used in buying figures.

MKV player? Why not just play on your laptop (with any player of your choice) and HDMI it to your TV? That's how i watch 1080p anime on my 50' TV. You can plug harddisk directly into the TV's USB port, but for me it is useless, cant play newer codecs like 10bit. Soon, i might consider wireless HD by Miracast. You can stream BD movies onto your TV wirelessly from a tablet, phone, or computer using Wifi.

When Orchid Seed makes Ignis, always got white and black ones... Years ago there is also Ignis The White which is the regular version, and Ignis Nimbus Black, limited version with blonde hair. Last year Orchid Seed repeated the same thing with this newer version.

I think i can pass on those hyakka ryouran girls, although they are great to have. I only have Naoe. Season 2 was terrible, except the boobs, and the high level "Samurai Bride" means white hair and jet engines. Seriously dafuq

My Asama Tomo last time, Registered SAL from Amiami, 10 days only reach my place already. Not bad. That is fast for SAL.

My friend also complain the box size, but after he showed me a photo of her (which i didnt know he is the one who took the picture, and bought one), i ended up thinking it is a bootleg, and he end up beh syok LOL (because he did think the same - the figure isnt good, just average). So far only 2 figures from PLUM are good - Godeater Alisa & 1/6 Nymph Swimsuit ver.

If heavy because of steel reinforcements (especially in their huge 1/7 figures), it is a good thing.

Too expensive for me now. >.< Looks really good though, and the usual Yamato trademarks there. There is some art of shunya vibe there although it's different.

I have always ordered locally most of the time, more expensive also, by 10-15% only. If you have knowledge, look around and get to know various shops, you can compare and get decent deals. I have over 10 local sites/shops im watching. For model kits, buying local is cheaper than from Amiami though, because shipping is sky high for model kits which is odd.

My figures by Alter, GSC, Max, have the shiny Hobby Japan stickers, so im pretty sure they are genuine. Im not that stupid to get fooled, i have never accidentally bought a bootleg locally before, ever since i started on this hobby 3 years ago and only bought from local stores, and even local ebay.

Only specifically Hobby Japan sticker, some stickers have something else written. Some with HJ stickers still look a bit bad - it's QC rejected product, but some unscrupulous local pl still import them cheap and sell.

Ya, that one they randomly stick one, you need to see carefully what is written on the sticker.
Unfortunately, some other companies, Arcadia, Kotobukiya, Alpha Max, etc totally have no stickers even for genuine products. Same goes to figmas and nendos.

China macam macam ada one lah, cant change that fact. Our genuine figure also made by them so they already have the prototype to make cheap copies out of them.
