Hm..
I tried once, but there's one time where it take something from my account.
Can't remember if it give back the amount it took. Was it for card confirmation or something?  hmm.gif
*
Yeap it was for card confirmation, they take rm10 and after you confirm your card with them, they'll refund the rm10 into your paypal account.'

P.S Yen seems to be on the rise again. Or put it another way, MYR dropping like sial. tongue.gif

sometimes buying from local seller got advantage too
some fix their pre-order price based on the current exchange rate, when product release time they still sell to you at that price even though exchange rate increased
*
coz their initial price high edi mah, so exchange rate increase they still earn, so they still sell at the same price. whistling.gif
My first proxy, 5k stuff including shipping he charge me rm250. doh.gif Ended up I FFK him and pay him cost price, dun wan the figure edi. tongue.gif

Thanks for the reply.
I think I'm gonna stay away from Paypal for a while..
If not, I'm gonna burn a hole faster than a gasoline-poured wallet on fire.  sweat.gif
All those figures..
*
Note that when paying thru Paypal, there's an option which lets you choose to let your bank do the conversion to yen rather than Paypal doing it. Use it, the bank's exchange rate is way cheaper than Paypal.

My figures so little now, around 8 only. sweat.gif Decided that it would be cheaper getting new figures rather then hunting out old stuff.

My suggestion is, buy whatever you want and like the most, regardless of old or new, depending on your budget. What's the most important in collecting figures, is being happy with what you have and having what you want.

Price is a secondary factor, but, of course, spend according to budget. If what you want is expensive now, you can still get it, but the total number of figures u can buy is lesser. That is what im doing. A good thing in the long run because i only buy what i really like, and only those with really good quality, and my room doesnt become overcrowded too fast.
*
Those old figures I not die die must buy mah, so I decided to get new figures so I can get more (and be more happy) tongue.gif

Anyone going ???

The first ever Culture Japan Convention (CJC) 2013 comes to Penang this year, aiming to bring fans and celebrities of the Japanese pop culture industry closer together as a community over an exciting weekend of activities and showcases.

Following the concept of Culture Japan Night (CJN), a quarterly event hosted in various countries by blogger and TV presenter Danny Choo, CJC will attempt to break barriers between fans, celebrities, and retailers. Fans can look forward to a relaxed environment where they can interact freely with cosplayers, illustrators, retailers, card gamers, and guests from Japan and around the world.

Jointly organized by Penang Global Tourism and Culture Japan, CJC will take place on the 17th and 18th of August 2013 at Straits Quay Convention Centre in Penang, Malaysia.

Too far, not possible for me to attend I'm afraid. I don't like Danny Choo anyway, dunno why. But sounds fun. Been attending Bon Odori all these years.
