yeah.. depends on popularity of a figure .. their prices can get pretty high ..
i once sold my extra alter enma ai of jigoku shoujo on ebay for rm500 .. which i bought only rm130 ..
and a couple years back .. sold pop bellemere of one piece for rm1.2k .. i got her at rm140 retail ..

any of you guys here fussy over seamlines on your figures?

in time .. you will feel the unnecessary use of the bases .. and just display them without one ..

unless of course if they're in dynamic poses ... or if they're with heavy chest or heavy butts ...

shunya's figures back then quite popular .. especially sera, mirei, shii arisugawa ... they all based on shunya's artwork ..
now more companies doing that .. taking artworks into figures .. and even better details and qualities ..
even the bishoujo series based on shunya's .. it becoming too many .. i have to stop somewhere..


and yeah... space really2 a problem for every collectors .. especially when you get too attached wit their boxes .. or you simply dont have a display cabinet to display them

some of my one piece pop at the corner of a room

my only qb's figure ... bought her because of her to be a pirate ..
but her box art already too much bare .. had to keep her somewhere out of ppl's eyes.. especially my in laws ..

can keep a huge amount of dust away .. protect the box better from fungus or termites ...
but when i get a nice display cabinet.. will unwrap them to take out the figure .. then wrap the box again

i have that as well .. used to be a completest in collecting figures ...
i've completed shunya yamashita until canal, witchblade, pop one piece, even hatsune miku
when at a point i realized .. it's endless .. i need to stop ..

yup.. collecting scale figures also serve good investment ..
but to buy multiple, need big capitals ... haha .. sometimes buy 1 also suffer, what else to buy 2 ..

yeah .. fickle minded weirdo .. reserve .. then cancel .. reserve back .. then cancel again ..
and somehow, he kinda 'talked out' himself and twist his words to get away the situation and made it as if he's not in the wrong ..
moral is .. if you wanna buy something from anybody .. make sure you'll get that legal bonding 1st .. haha ..
nevermind la .. as least he offered and paid me to cover his guilt .. not really a courtesy act to me .. more like a bribe which i took ..
