Hi All,
I'm 23 years old this year, just started to work in KL. Since I was young, I loved playing video games.
My favorite games include FF7, FF8, FF9, DA2, and other RPGs.
I am a graduate from IT, and has dabbled in games development for a while now. I learn all the game development skills online from youtube, Buzz3D and others. Due to work commitments, I have recently stopped doing games, but I would love to start back.
I would really love to find a few people who has the same interest, determination and passion to co-develop a simple RPG (turn-based battle system such as FF7). We can learn together and really have fun doing this during our free time.
Now, I know game development is one of the hardest things to do. In fact, there are a few times which I got stuck for a whole day just to find one mistake in a code. But that never dampen my spirits to really create a game. However, creating a RPG game is not a one man task. So before you say something like "learn programming first lah", "no experience, how to create game?" or "go to game design course first lah", remember, you are your biggest enemy, and you will be the one who will ultimately prevent yourself from reaching your dream.
For fellow aspiring game developers out there, do PM me and we can get together and discuss. I have basic games programming skills (Unity3D) and I can help you guys out as well

Hi sendo. I'm Zack. I'm 23 next year, I dropped out of college to pursue my game making dream. Since I was young I loved playing video games especially Final Fantasy series, Suikoden series and Breath of Fire series. My fav are FF7,8,9 and Suikoden 2. When I was a kid and up to the point when I was form 5, I always scribbled and wrote in my notebooks of RPG's that I want to make someday, always spend time writing its skills, characters, names, mechanic, story and so on so forth. But I always postponed this desire to make JRPG by procrastinating on it. I did download RPG Maker VX and purchased RPG Maker VX Ace but the most I did in the mare make character walk and make NPC talk, and the rest of my RPG Maker times were spend by playing games made by members in RPG Maker community. I procrastinated alot. But now, not anymore. I dropped out of my mechanical engineering course in college to pursue this interest. This time, I wanna be solidly serious about it. I have at least one year free to spend just for learning the surface waters of game programming (I chose Unity3D btw) and game design.
I don't have any IT or programming background, I'm a complete beginner in programming. But I'm willing to brave the odds. Hopefully you can help me in learning and using Unity3D and learning C# programming for Unity.
