Thinking of getting a tablet for kids' gaming. Which OS has better games and gaming experience? Heard it's apple with their apple-exclusive games that was made for and works best in IOs. True? Or is android having the same games as apple now? Please recommend, thanks.

most of the games for young kids (below 12)... both are about the same. i mean... if you're talking about simple platform games, or the candy crush thing... they are popular enough to be on both ios (apple) and android.
getting the hardware... Nexus 7... quite a decent tablet. easily can get at about rm700. you can play most games anyway. read ebooks too...
if you're talking about RPG or hack and slash... some are exclusive to only one platform like Infinity Blade (for IOS only) and Ingress (Android only).
games generally get released first on ios (still generally bigger user base and since the models are limited, easier to develop) and then later made available to Android.

I just forgotten one important point in my question.
For free games, are there any differences between both OS?
I know for android, don't need to root in order to install games. But I think for apple, need to JB to do same.

Games made for phones can just buy Apple tablets.
DS, GBA, PSX, SNES, N64 games played on emulators can use Android.

if for kids,i think both similar... cos most games that need to pay are likely to be RPG those... else itll be inapp purchase where u can play without even paying but might not fully enjoy the full feature of the app

But majority of the popular titles have multi platform. But if you're okay with playing on a tablet, then iPad is better (for now). If on phone, iphone's screen is too small in my opinion.
