QUOTE
Windows Defender (Beta 2) is a free program that helps protect your computer against pop-ups, slow performance, and security threats caused by spyware and other unwanted software. If not mistaken you have to be genuine to install it as well because it also checks WGA validation independently.

fyi, The SpyNet Community provides a way for Windows AntiSpyware (Beta) users to help each other by reporting new spyware threats.

Next step? Any software by Microsoft will need validation.

yea, i tried it, only for one day. cant update itself. seems like a problem faced by many. tired of it. at least ms antispyware was not so problematic. LOL. windows better buckup with debugging, always full of problems, their programs. a common problem many programmers never change, to debug their programs and check for exploits. (shakes head).
