CHEATING PARTNER: The woman with her 'new' boyfriend at the police station in Kulim
A WOMAN who was cheating on her boyfriend was almost attacked with a knife when her boyfriend found her shopping with another man at a supermarket about 10pm on Monday.
Witnesses said they saw the woman, a foreigner, with her lover running away while being chased by another man, believed to be the suspect.
An argument ensued between the two men, both foreigners, before the woman intervened.
The public alerted the police to ensure no untoward incident occurred.
Policemen on patrol in the area rushed to the scene and managed to calm down both men.
Upon inspection, police found a black coloured knife on the suspect. All three were taken to the police station here for questioning.
The suspect told police he was upset with his girlfriend's cheating ways.
He said he had spent a lot of money on her and was upset that she was cheating on him.
''She was never like this and we used to spend plenty of time together.
''However, of late, she has been giving me excuses that she is busy and working each time I ask her out. I was shocked to see her with another man,'' he said. -Sinar Harian
