I had 1 original copy of SCBW and installed it on all of my cousin's laptops back home in Manila. Yep, Big Game Hunters over LAN galore!

EDIT: Please note however, that "spawned" players are only limited to play Terran. Still not bad!

seems that players with wol can only play terran when spawning up. just tried it with my friends..this is sad. gg blizz

last few days just tried with Bob his wol manage to use zerg in 2v2 with me.

but if starter edition, yes!

mu friends have WoL but can only use terran when spawned up with me. Maybe if u try it again u will see lol. everyone is having the same problem.

I could use Zerg the other day, probably only for that few days.

The spawn feature is working as intended, meaning, the spawned-up party members should only be able to use Terran.

Spawned-up party members were able to use Protoss and Zerg only until June 11 (or was it 9?). But the point is, spawned-up party members are back stuck with Terran.

So it's not a problem, but a feature with limited functionality that is intended to work as such.

And come on. Disappointed with Blizz for not allowing you to use Protoss and Zerg?

Think about it this way: Blizzard lets you download the whole 15GB game client, FOR FREE. With the Starter edition (by simply signing up for a BattleNet account FOR FREE), Blizzard allows you to play all the units of the Terran race, gives you several maps to play up to Easy AI (and of course with some friends) on and a couple of missions on the single player campaign. This is called a TEASER. Now Blizzard gives you an even bigger tease called the Spawn feature where you could play all the maps and go 2v2/3v3/4v4 ladder. And finally, the biggest tease of them all: 200RM (can't remember the exact price, but it's less than 200RM) for the WoL+HotS pack.

If you're not teased enough yet, well, not Blizzard's fault. They did what they can. And I reckon they'd rather go back to making the game better for those who paid for it, and preparing for the 2nd season of the WCS 2013.

That's quite right. It's meant to be a marketing feature while also helping us to get friends to try out the game without forking out RM200 to buy the game. Starter Edition was meh in its attempt to go a free trial but was better than nothing.

Best of all, you can try it at ANYTIME. To my knowledge, such free to play options by other publishers (such as EA) give it on a time to time basis (such as one particular weekend and etc). This is highly convenient and besides.......who can't dig more portraitzz <3 lol

Feel got scam TT. just checked is less than rm200, hopefully more player will join the sea poporlation.

You can always call your friends to play or play on other servers.

Me and Genryu now tend to 2v2 in Korea for more competition lol.
