How are your going to calculate? If Room A uses 100 kWh and Room B uses 175 kWH, you will be billed the following.

For the first 200 kWh (1 - 200 kWh) per month sen/kWh 21.8 = RM43.60
For the next 75 kWh (201 - 300 kWh) per month sen/kWh 33.4 = RM25.05
Total bill RM68.55. Now who pays what? Both also use under 200 kWh. If you average the total bill RM68.55/275 kWh = RM0.249.
Will Room A ask why should he pay RM0.249 when he should only pay RM0.218 ?


It looks like you are renting rooms and that is your purpose, right? No one wants to do what you do otherwise. Then imagine if Room A 100 kWh, Room 2, 175 kWh and Room 3 215 kWh. Will Room A & B ask Room 3 to pay RM 0.334 since he exceeds the 201 kWh?
