Just wondering. If i decrease the weight of the car. Will the cvt engine run at lower rpm when cruising?

No. Cruising RPM is fixed in the TCU software.

The only way to change it is to reflash your TCU with different settings.

I see. Well at least it does help in acceleration right? Like same accelerate rate at lower rpm with lighter body compare to higher rpm with heavy body.

guys, will overfilled engine oil cause the engine to not start? mine did it again this morning. 3 times it just ran for 2 seconds and dead. and i checked that the engine oil was more than the maximum level of the dipstick. quite a lot more. and it was done by SC during my 1st service last friday.

Usually won't affect engine not to start. Did you wipe dry the dipstick then probe again?

I am very particular about over filling because the crank might be frothing the engine oil like beating an egg.

yup i did wiped dry the dipstick, was driving a leaking engine oil kancil before this so im very concern about the oil level. dont really get your last sentence. laugh.gif

anyway you should pat yourself on your back, you have many minions to do your bidding and to attack others who dare say 1 bad thing about 3max....

Problem may happen:
1. Rear brake knock sound [go SC ask them change new brake shoe]
2. Passenger door rattling sound [insulflex]
3. Water leaking to IAFM from wiper drainage [not for my car but others - use silicone seal it]
*
Done fixing drumbrake issue but now driver side door rattling sound.. Hahaha..

now come sv. 8 k diff. sad

Nothing to be sad about, they are all the same saga. My friends are mostly driving saga. From blm to fl to flx. We share the same feeling same spirit driving gaga. Did not feel sad for being driving blm or fl. Despite lack of features and price difference for older saga.

lol....it the same type of sensor user in your fuel pump to measure fuel amount in your tank  laugh.gif
Adui, if you chase new models like that then it will never end. FL is a perfectly fine car for it's purpose.

Imagine buying the first iteration of dugong then butthurt after it's thousandth facelift.
Engine
BLM/FL - 1.3 Campro IAFM
FLX - 1.3 Campro IAFM+

Gearbox
BLM/FL - AichiKikai MT or Mitsubishi 4AT
FLX - Getrag MT or Punch powertrain CVT

Safety
Dual airbags and ABS is introduced in FLX onwards. Chassis remains the same until minor changes in FLX SV.

ICE
BLM - Clarion CD player
FL - Clarion CD player with steering mounted controls (not sure if it has aux and USB port.)
FLX - Clarion CD player with aux and USB port and steering mounted controls.

Correct my if I am wrong or missed out anything.
*
FL have aux and usb as my friend own one. One more thing is meter color, its orange for FL and white for FLX.
Anyway, whats improvement on the chasis of SV?

I think i haven get use to cvt yet after owning the car more one month plus. How do you guys accelerate to overtake cars? When emergency want to overtake, i press the pedal until 4k rpm but coudnt feel the torque coming, i have to release a little then can feel the power. When i cant feel the power, its human natural tent to press more and the rpm suddenly shoot very fast after 4k rpm. Hope any cvt sifu can give some tips. laugh.gif
