what I mean by power is that the car feel more lively? like can overtake faster sort of thing? basically I do not know what is the different or how to differentiate with more Power or throttle response effect given this kind of device installed in our car. Better throttle response mean more power, no? Mind to explain to me in lay man term?

How I came across this product is due to my friend have it fixed in his Lancer 2.0 and yesterday he fetch me to lunch. He set something on the Potent Booster device and I can feel the difference (before setting and after) in terms of power when he pickup. I never sit in a Lancer before so maybe what I feel is not much of the effect from the device but just my own imagination haha

I heard the price of this device is not cheap, around RM700. But if one device can already make your car more "powerful", isn't that better than upgrading/changing multiple component in our car? Just my opinion la

thts not power, thts juz u feel like more power, as the throttle been operate much quicker thn normal setting. THE DEVICE WASNT FOR POWER..
alot ppl calling it ETC = Electric Throttle Controller...

btw better throttle response is not more power ler.... means u can accelerate more faster thts all..

Engine output is still the same, thats why I say no increase in power.

What it does is that it adjusts the throttle plate opening. Let's say without that device, you press 20% pedal, the throttle plate opens 20%. With that device in sport mode, you press 20% throttle, the throttle plate opens 70%.

So the question for you is....if you want your throttle plate to open 70%, why don't you just press your pedal to 70% and save RM700?

Since u tried already,then u can go n install if u r satisfied with the effect/result that the potent booster gives

yes, it makes the car feels more lively. If someone is telling you potent booster +10hp, you can tell them putting a kite on their antenna will +15hp.

layman term ah? erm...

for a car to be fast, the throttle body opening has to be wide opened maxed. So, with potent booster, throttle opening can be opened maxed when the setting is at FH mode, so when the throttle opening is wide opened even with a touch of throttle pedal, car feels more eager to go forward (at the expense of fuel consumption).

IC IC, now I know what is the difference between throttle response and more power. I did some internet search to have a better picture But anyway with all the valuable input from you guys, it gives me better understanding. THanks!!
