When I read forum, arcane is number 1, I don't know why as ToT need heavy movement, anyway my gear is just LFR and Shado Pan Assault rep rewards.
Below are the ranking.
http://www.noxxic.com/wow/dps-rankings/realistic#522I done 70k+ on frost in most boss (less Horridon aoe fest), arcane I used on do some less movement fight like council and twin and megara... it sucks... but maybe I didn't stack mastery as I'm stacking haste for froze atm.
I'd love to see how mage solo rares in Isle of Thunder, as currently if no one is hunting rares... my mage just camp infront of Goda (easiest to kill and access) and hope someone will come and tag it. same goes to fury warrior, I hit boss he hit me back... My regen is so insignificant with the damage boss dealt, I've seem prot warrior solo boss easy, but like I said, too many alts no time to respect prot warrior, anyway it's a waste of time as I'm not gonna tank in LFR.
Boomkin need to stack crit and the lei shen sure crit trinket to exile in dps, right now my crit is merely 20% (no lei shen trinket), my starsurge hardly proc, and yeah... dps sux. around 50k sustainable.
Warrior low crit rate also around 50k but thanks to execute it will boost up alot in the end.
The only way to evaluate your DPS greatly is using simulationcraft to get the feel what your dps should reach. But keep in mind simulationcraft is not giving you the dps you
should reach but somewhere in the area. This is a really great tool to use if you a dps. There are others simulation tools provided too for specific class, so look around the WoW forum for more definitive answer.
Noxxic gets the ranking from simulationcraft website and its outdated, Fire mages according to simulationcraft right now far ahead of other spec by a 6k difference. Still not the absolute dps that fire mages should get but gives you an idea what classes dps ranking are right now.
