My phone occur two black dots on the camera lens. I sent it to Sony Service Malaysia -The Curve last tuesday , I call them by saturday I asked for a new replacement since I saw some comments here , the got new replacement for the same case.
They said they will call me today but they didn't. I called them just now and the guy was helping me to follow up my case. He said my request for changing new set is not approve and!!!!!!! my phone need to repair until the end of June. It's really pissed me off! I WON'T BUY SONY PHONE IN MALAYSIA Anymore!

Last time when Xperia is still Sony Ericsson, I sent my Xperia straight to Menara Amcorp where their technician is based. The receptionist told me hardware repair at most 3 days, and I sent it twice, it took them 1 day only.
The reason (I think) Sony Service at the Curve need so long is because they have to wait for their schedule to send it there, and another schedule to collect.
Now since Xperia become Sony, I'm not sure where their new technician is based. You can ask around. I heard it's based in Plaza Berjaya.
I'm afraid if you buy other brand, they gonna do the same to you, having their own sweet time to send and collect, unless you're very sure they exchange 1 on 1 in Malaysia like Apple.
edit: the poster below said now iPhone also don't have on spot replacement.
So I next time any brand you buy, just send it straight to their where their technician is based.
