I using [NUT] one as though can keep the root, but who knows [NUT] version root is not working.

Just flash Spain version then use Doomlord exploit to root it is better.

You no need to repeat same/similar question for every single firmware, procedures always same, understand it the meaning.

i have notification led problem with my xperia z also , even after i change the color , example : purple in whatsapp , initially it will flash purple led , then after the stamina mode kicks in , it will change to white . It's like this since 253 firmware and i dont know what to do man . T.T

Turn off stamina mode and test again..

Then I think it's about software problem.. It might disable it too.. I'm using zl.. I didn't use stamina mode.. Coz I need fb, whatsapp, viber keep turned on always..

I need u need several to make it normal.. My zl battery life at first is just so so. Now become better ady.. Can hv total 20hours+ with sot 3 and half hour.. 3G, gps, auto sync, wifi, on all the time.. Which quite impress me.. Total of sot include surfing, gaming, papago a while.

well I have able update my Z to 4.2.2 on Weds(26Jun)
my PCC software have a new update the previous day
and i got the update the next day

granted, my timeline :
434 > root > 253 > root > 307 > root > 423

423 to 253 is standard wipe all stuff through PCC
to root i have to re-wipe all again with Flashtool

the to 307 + root no need to wipe , but this update is not available on PCC
and to 423 also did not need wiping :happy:

now from what i can gather, those on 253 cannot detect the latest updates,
so either wait for proper release or do it by flashtool
some claim to be able to update after downgrade (flashtool again) to 434 version

But morfeature that is the feature Sony provided
It used to be that the phone totally have no notifications led with stamina mode on and wonky led when off
But with 253 few onward the led work like it is now
White quick flash when screen is off with stamina on and normal when stamina off

Guess have to wait if they are gonna improve it or not

I know maybe some of you had bad experience with battry life of 4.2.2...you can just calibrate the battery again and you will get awesome battry life of xperia z.trust me.today after gaming,surfing my battry still got 96% (fully charge at 11am).you can search battey callibration at playstorez.but you must root your device to get this software function.
