Yes, true, I am also using S3 as secondary device, still on stock rom, compare to my XZL and S3, I will go for XZL as it gives good performances..  rclxms.gif

lol in my case its the other way around, s3 (+3k original extended battery+custom rom=no lag at all) main phone with xz sharing with my loli/wife as ap or second phone.

yeah that's the main reason. Plus my s3 is with otterbox casing

while i like xz design/etc feature.. but lack of though (like otterbox/balastic/etc) casing make me think twice to use the phone. Mainly when doing site visit or etc rclxub.gif

After seeing how much my co-worker have to paid when his xz screen crack rclxub.gif

I've flashed to global unbranded Spanish and tried EXCELSUS rom for Z.

So far so good.

If Malaysian region updates finally arrives, I'll try to restore back with the Malaysian version/customization.

For that I've made personal backup FTF from SEUS from .253 firmware.

Something weird happened... my XZL running 4.2.2 (423 firmware) battery showing 23%... so, I plan to squeeze out the battery until <10% before proceeding with charge... so, I play games on it... for about 2 minutes on, the phone comes out with battery low alert and suddenly force shut down... the phone is dead... I try to on it several times... but to no avail... the battery must have been flat... So, I plug in charger and charge the phone... few seconds later, successfully on the phone... anyone encountered this before?

why is the battery % is not accurate.... I have 23% of battery... suddenly after two minutes of Beach Buggy it shut downs... cannot be that battery consuming right? Before update to 4.2.2 never happened like this

there is no need of android expertise to calibrate the battery.
this is supposed to be practice on basically everything that uses rechargeable battery.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?...libration&hl=en

charge until 100, drain until fully 0, then charge uninterrupted until 100.

actually using app/cwm is just a bonus, deleting battery stats bin file in system. it's only a choice to install or not.

just charge until 100, drain until 0, then charge until 100 uninterrupted.

Yea, used the method mentioned at above.. Keep in mind once ur phone is fully charged then unplug it.. 100% not totally fully charged.. Go to settings, about phone, status, battery status.. When it's Full then can unplug.. Try to avoid keep charging phone overnight..
