The lock screen would flicker when I play some music. Can't access media control.

Also the lockscreen now becoming too sensitive, I can't slide to use camera etc.

Maybe that could it be it for those with lagging issues, mine is not activated.

I don't think is myxperia apps problem. I do activated. Try setting reset if after flash Rom is still lag.

Not sure for xperia z rom, but at least in my ZL is still good and smooth condition.

Never happen for me, it run fine for me.


Ya, probably, I deactivate already. Mine not really lag, but sometimes after a day or 2 usage, it will behave a bit lag in launcher app.

So I try disable see how.

I need some feedback from XZ users, do you have to change your SIM card to get Maxis LTE ?

According to their customer service, only a few phones can get it now and XZ is not one of them.

Maxis by default will tell you XZ is not supported. Forget about their nonsense. Their support staffs are not well informed n updated
As long your card is microsim n issued in the past 1year it is auto LTE enabled. If you cannot detect LTE in LTE areas than go n change sincard at any Maxis center. There is no activation required

I dont face this issue in my XZL..

LTE only available for 2gb and above package, not sure if it's available for 1gb package, but pretty sure it's not available for 250mb package coz I was using that previous

nope XZ can use Maxis LTE , chg to microsim and also your data account must be 1Gb or more.

can detect
but cannot register

he is on note 2 package

my own is prepaid hotlink
also can detect lte but cannot register to that network

if i want to install the excelus rom, i can just flash it thru cwm rite?

manage to resolve mediaserver battery drain on my XZL.
Now battery is 45% compared to 20% previously with similar usage at 6pm.

what i did

1. revalidate and fix all mp3 using mp3val
2. check all pictures - delete those corrupted pics ( pics that can't be viewed in album)
3. do the same for videos
4. put .nomedia files in all non media folders

a lot of work but worth the effort.

my battery life since yesterday from 7,00pm till now...which is acceptable for my usages..

My battery only lasted 12h yesterday,with the cpu being kept awake 7h. BBS showed the rgb led is keeping the cpu awake though i'm not sure what the rgb led refers to,probably the led notification light.

Not bad battery life. And I will try to do the fix too. MediaservEr and Android OS do drain my battery much. Maybe I'm on nfc, auto sync, WiFi, data, GPS always. I didn't turn on stamina mode. Which able to maintain 3 hours + sot with some light gaming, heavy surfing and moderate fb. Overall got 18hours. I feel zl battery can be improve more.

It's available for 1gb package.

So far zl batt very good at least for me.usually every day about12 to 14 hours with always 3g and wifi.

I found my ZL in file manager do got emulated, sdcard0 and sdcard1
Which I know sdcard0 is internal memory. And all contains in sdcard0 also appear in emulated folder. What is that actually?
