I just recovered back to .434 and it prompted me with updates for .423. Nice!

Aight, updated to 4.2.2 and rooted. Now gotta get all my apps restored with Titanium Backup.

I was expecting to downgrade to .434, then upgrade to .307, then get the official update but it appears in the .434. So that was good.

Just flash the .434 firmware. I made a back up before I did and just restored it after that. So no issues. But I think you might encounter a boot loop if you don't wipe the phone. Not too sure.

I guessed as much, but I was preparing to have to flash to .307 as well. Tutorial said wipe, I went ahead smile.gif

Didn't really lose anything since I had the back up so all is fine. 4.2.2 is quite nice, it's the little things...

I flashed my Xperia Z on .253 with [FTF] Stock 10.1.A.1.434 (4.1.2) GLOBAL SE unbranded C6603(LTE) and then received the prompt to update to 4.2.2 (.423)

Global is usually used where since each region seems to have their own copy?

Also, does 4.2.2 still show LTE or 4G? I'm only seeing 4G now instead of LTE before on 4.1.2
