Lately I've been trying to surf into china website such as baidu, taobao or tmall but all these website could not load and they are loading in a very slow pace.
I dont understand why.
I have tried to restart the modem a alot of times but no luck.
Mind help me ?

yes, the problem only occur when I use home package from TM... with biz package unifi/streamyx no slow problem

it is definitely routing issue.
there are no direct peering from TM to China hence the slowness. Traffic is routed through US or something, i am not using streamyx now so i cant confirm whether it is routed through US or somewhere else.

i facing the same problem as well.

Just give a call to Unifi call center and guess what the operator told me. This problem have been reported to them for the pass 2 weeks. TM is working on it but without even giving a tentative fixing time. Also claim that the problem is cause by many chinese trying to access the north asia web sites.

This problem only happens on Unifi customer. A suggestion given by the operator to me "Please use other Internet Services to access the china websites"

Hi I'm working in Singapore and travel back to JB everyday.
At first I tried to access taobao in Sg (Singtel) cannot I thought maybe telco problem,
then after that I tried in JB (unifi) also the same.
I don't think this issue lies on particular telco then.
Hopefully the can resolve it soon.

It is an isp issue, in this case, unifi. Read ah_wei's post above yours. Maybe singtel also had this issue coincidentally at the same time.

There are also other posters saying that can access china sites fine with other isp.

it have no issue right now 6AM until now 7:55AM, surf no issue and can stream. I believe it is overloaded rather than throttle by TM. hope they can fix it soon.

sound like there mess up something and all current access r jam in certain point.

I contacted Unifi and they told me that the capacity to China is not fully working.By the way,I tried Unifi biz and it seems running well to access China websites.Maybe different routes?

i bet this got to take month for them to solve out

Last time when my streamyx suffer 8x% speed drop during peak hour due to there allocated too much user in same server which cause congestion. There take almost a month plus to relocate the user to proper server.

May be the same issue here all route to china r been route to same line which have cause worst exp since u say the capacity is not utilize mean the system should be auto arrange the user to few route instead of on a congestion route

Nope,that's not the problem as Maxis/Celcom and some other mobile ISPs could load those websites well.Even Unifi Biz users are good for now.

i try paid VPN service so far can load taobao through SG server

I'm using VPN since one week ago,otherwise can't load weibo and taobao etc.

ur reply sound like TM customer service (no brain) .....

ooppss ... din't see ur signature, both company no different, recently my dedi move from exa to HK server for a simple reason : Customer Service.

I'm also having same issue recently...it was working fine previously...it must be something happen on TM!!!

Write your complaint to aduanskmm@cmc.gov.my and cc to unifi@tm.com.my . The more people complains about it with the right path,the more focus TM will pay for.

TM UNIFI is denying people complaining on this issue, pls check occ unifi portal on your case status. They closed off this type of cases automatically without action or your knowlegde.

They haven't done it on me.But if they do it later,I will definitely file another complaint to SKMM and ask for terminating the contract without penalty.

Time apparently has real good connection to China website.

They called me said that it's website server issues.I told them that I tried on other ISPs and all can load the websites smoothly except TM Unifi Home.I also forwarded a piece of complaint to MCMC.Now MCMC is pushing TM to do deeper investigation.I wish they could get me updated tomorrow.

Until today, TM haven't say anything? Even I had manage to tweet them. They replied that it's working fine just loading a little slow. I told them it's not only slow, totally can't load at all. They just keep silent.. Sigh.

Did you write email to MCMC?I tweeted to TM and got the same reply.So I wrote to MCMC and they promised to follow-up.

i am using home 5mb . no lag or sort of slow loading found.

try streaming some china video , you'll feel the lag

My unifi can completly load taobao fine today after down or slow for a week.
Finally it's okie already.

UniFi back to normal Faster and lower ping than before Hope it can last for few months, if not forever

My IP range is Miri Zone IP (175.136.x.x)

mine had no problem. ip changes everytime modem restart. 219/175/110 all also same speed for me.

no issues with Unifi

my ping also down .last time eu server around 250-300 now <200 .

you can't write to MCMC straight, there's procedure to follow. The last resort is to SKMM. There's flow chart on SKMM page how does it goes.

MY IP range is 175.136.XXX.X
Still slow compare to last week,
but it's can load full page of taobao and other china web site.
Last week I ping to taobao web site get 64ms
now I ping and get about 300ms.
Still slow but it can load full page,
don't know if this is link to china 64 period (May close some of their network system).

the problem is at TM.
Their employee(mostly) is lazy and the head doesnt care until your internet is f***.
They even try to push streamyx user to upgrade to unifi.
Method like promotion(bait), they talk so nice and sweet, it goods this and that but in another side, i know the shit out all of the unifi other than goods.
They also call whether got slow down or not and tell you need to upgrade your services.
They even send a sale instead of technician to promote the unifi at once time i complain slow.
China website is slow, sometimes, but most time can access fast or normal. It is their altitude problem. cant help, sigh

Lost in Action again I think they run out of bandwidth to handle their bandwidth hungry users
