hello guys, i just got my s4 LTE today but once i reached home i tried calling my mom.

I can hear her over the phone through speakers only and not the phone. Have anyone experienced this before?

when i click speaker then yes i can hear them but there are some background effects which i think is weird.
when i off the speaker i cant hear shit

nope, i have take out all plastic covers from the phone, everything.

checked the volumes, all maximum.

where is the factory reset option?

done the factory reset as well, no luck. guess i'll have to visit service center tomorrow.

does anyone have any experience with a faulty s4 or with the Samsung service center in PJ (beside federal highway)?

How do they go about the warranty?

Would I be offered a new set or they will take mine in for repair? My phone is only 1 day old by the way.

Technically i bought a faulty set from Maxis but since they did not cover any warranty or anything, I could not do a 1 to 1 exchange with Maxis.

Any suggestions / advise is appreciated.

In other words, i think there's something wrong with the phone audio, however, the speakers works fine tho.

You mean Samsung KLCC is selling s4 LTE outright? I thought only maxis is offering it at this point of time thats why i purchase it from them

ahhh yeah, i spoke to the samsung guy as well today, they mentioned within 7 days, 1-1 exchange, in pyramid's branch at least.
