I've got this issue..my main suspect is my memory card..but gonna ask around first if anyone here is experiencing this
Issue: After snapping a photo, the gallery crashes, returns to camera Accessing the gallery manually and selecting the recent photo to view..gallery crashes and returns to apps tray Restarting the phone will then show the "image not available" for the recent photo Watching videos all okay, until after a certain period of time..error show "unable to view file type" Restarted the phone and can watch the video again Only happens to media files on memory card, no issues with medias on internal memory Steps taken: Reformatted the memory card using the phone, dates shows the day I formatted ie: xx/05/2013 (I did it somewhere in May) After the occurrence AGAIN of crashing of gallery, I noticed that the date is no 01/01/1970 My phone's details: Suspect: Memory Card - SanDisk MicroSDHC 32GB Class 10 MOBILE ULTRA EDIT: Pardon the white dots..I enabled the touch points via the dev options This post has been edited by madman20: Jun 5 2013, 11:23 AM |

QUOTE(steventan85 @ Jun 5 2013, 11:43 AM) samsung microsd ? dont worry so much la.....remember to backup ur things weekely or monthly will do... other brand also will spoil , depend on ur luck as well... It's not the issue of backup or not..it's when I wanna view/share the photos..I have to keep restarting the phone..and that doesn't guarantee the photo is okay =/I'll consider samsung's microSD then |

QUOTE(steventan85 @ Jun 5 2013, 11:52 AM) its faulty card lo.... normal card wont face this kind of issue ...juz make sure u get genuine will do... there is a warranty sticker in front of sandisk microsd card.... if not sticker means fake ? not sure then ..... Bought from reputable LYNer..but I guess you can say the brand has common issue..time to go for Samsung then..will drop by their shop at pyramid |

QUOTE(HeartRoxas @ Jun 12 2013, 02:41 PM) Really? Was never ok for me, it lags, and when I press space too fast, it puts up suggestion instead of auto correcting what I typed. because on the keyboard my "fingers" are still on some keys not finished typing yet. And space bar will include the suggestion. Suddenly my whole paragraph makes no sense. You're not the only one..I also encounter this when I'm speed-typing (Wah..sound so poyo Don't know if ppl will raise fanboi pitchfork here but I tried HTC One's ime and it's so far the best. Keys are wide, predictions are very good. "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog" typed 3 times on different keyboards : HTC One - 0 error all 3 times Google Keyboard - 1 error out of 3 times Samsung Keyboard - 3 error out of 3 times And I'm saying type fast, not looking at the content and just move thumbs until finishing the sentence then check where is the error. Just my lil testing. My previous Desire HD also does lag behind the typing speed..but not as bad as the S4..however..I now adapt to it until I'm able to find an alternative In which, I've found suggested here - Google Keyboard..will download and give it a go tonight |
