Long-press the volume key up, and the powerful LED light becomes a torch, and that same volume rocker down can be used as a camera shutter key directly from locked mode.

No idea about that, but the XZ water resistance seems to depend entirely on flaps being closed, and quite a number reported water damage even though the flaps were sealed.

Maybe S4 Active has a more robust design. The XCover 2 had some kind of finger screw to remove the back plate for sd card and SIM card, so if they follow the same then no ports are exposed.

saw that picture but my eyes deceive me and didn't notice that arrow beside waterproof word.

btw, just got this

QUOTE
IP67 Enclosures constructed for either indoor or outdoor use to provide a degree of protection to personnel against incidental contact with the enclosed equipment; to provide a degree of protection against falling dirt; against hose-directed water and the entry of water during occasional temporary submersion at a limited depth; and that will be undamaged by the external formation of ice on the enclosure.

5 = Protected against dust - Limited to ingress (no harmful deposit)

6 = Totally protected against dust

7 = Protected against the effects of temporary immersion between 15cm and 1m. Duration of test 30 minutes.

EDIT: If active got ip68 cert, it will definitely the highest in the ranking because 8=immersion beyond 1m

I saw the side view, it shows that there is an indentation to remove the back cover just like the normal S4/S3.

This means that you need to be careful when clipping the back together. There's probably a seal around the edges. Good achievement to allow removable battery with IP67, even better than the XZ design.

i notice that too since the picture of the side leaked on teh net but still no official confirmation

The waterproof test is for the S4 Active. It is clearly stated in the pop up caption.

Hey guys, any idea when Google map turn by turn navigation will come to Malaysia? Singapore already has this since Nov 2012. Google has also released their navigation app for ios. So iphone users are having better features from Google maps than Android users? Kind of like treating your step son better than your own son huh?
*
I think, after they updated the Maps first. Even the map have been not updated for a long time
