yes if u claim through samsung,and asking for 1-1 replacement, u have to wait at least 2-3weeks, worst 1month. Usually only repeated job/claim only can be replace 1-1.

simple, sync ur ip4s contact to Contacts in windows 7( pc),from Contacts windows7 ,export to vcf or csv, then copy the exported file to ur internal storage. From your phone,go to contacts and select import from internal storage
