Not necessary even to show proof of purchase or warranty card
Based on my experience dealing 5 times with them past 5 years
These step of sending back warranty card is so old school already

I use faster way
Just PM fellow lowyat member Fallenout n provide him your name, mobile phone no n phone imei . He will register ewarranty for you Free of charge. He has helped many members here n did it 3 times for me. Great helpful chap.
