Don't get a US phone unless you know what you exactly want. They are usually carrier locked and LTE radios are not compatible with the frequencies here. They are locked as bad as Sony/HTC.

USA LTE bands usually incompatible with Msia. Check it first unless support 1800,2600 mhz

Normally SengHeng, Harvey will be 2weeks late from phone provider. Expected to hear feom maxis in 1-2 days time

PS. just bought my GS4 week ago, checked the camera and its not work, putted my GS4 in service centre 3 days ago (due to motherboard-camera connector issue) damn from thousand GS4 i got the defect one .. will get it this afternoon n try root it tomorrow

Both also good. Some prefer the S4 for sdcard and removable battery and better daylight camera, some prefer the one because it looks and feels nice.

if u care about the design n want premium feel, go for htc one..
the design really nice.. but beware of the "gap" issue..

if u want sdcard slot, removable battery, better daylight camera, fast update, bigger screen, go for s4..

i also was in ur situation.. dunno what to choose between one and s4.. but at last, i go for s4..
n never regret it.. plus, my s4 now with sgp neo hybrid which make it look premium..
