Just visited Nottingham University last week they are building few blocks of hostel too. I didn't check total hostel units will be.

Also, checked with few students, the number of students studying around 800 to 900. But, not too sure new intake.

Is anyone know how many hostel units will build?

I read from another forum stated that the campus itself is building another 15blocks to cater their on campus accomodation. How true is it? and what is the exisiting units/rooms for in campus.

I think can check through nottingham Website for some of the above details. My only concerns, who is this Developer whether reliable or not and 'high end' which they claim to rent out about 700/room, from my research, MKH is building 1000+unit landed properties just nearby called taman pelangi and price range is also from 300k+ if u buy subsale. I think the student can get cheaper room there.
Anyhow, will make an effort to visit the site. haha.

Info I got from my colleagues:

Currently about 4500. projected 2015 will be about 6000 students.

In terms of current rentals:

On Campus $355-$625
Off Campus $780-880 apartment, $480-$850 landed

Completion is third quarter of 2015 whereby 4 blocks of 482 units of apartments will be ready.

Please pm me with your full name and email so i can register you with the developer or for future projects.

Hi,

I just booked 1 unit of the Univillage project. I called the developer's lawyer who would be arranging for the S & P agreement and the option to rent agreement.

This is my first time buying a project with Guaranteed Rental Return (GRR). The lawyer office said that they were instructed by the developer not to send a soft copy or hard copy of the S & P and the option to rent agreement to the buyer before the signing date. They expect the lawyer to explain and run through the agreement on the spot during the signing. One more thing, the lawyer office said that they are not allowed to release a hard copy of the Option to Rent to the buyers. The buyers will only sign the S & P agreement and not the Option to Rent.

Is this standard practice?
