great picture & I no idea whether gold at bottom or not and its not part of my portfolio for investment
at least I know who the faceless momo r selling too the public or the institutional investor. if anyone read lots of self help books. they sure support the public http://www.resourceinvestor.com/2013/06/28...hettimonster=hp Institutional investors and traders are liquidating their gold positions for month-end and quarter-end window-dressing. The gold prices have also followed the break-even inflation rate of the 10-year TIPs lower. The holdings in the largest gold ETF, GLD, is now below 1,000 metric tons, back to the level in early 2009. Continuous selling by the ETF investors and the large speculators has led to an oversold position in gold http://www.ft.com/cms/s/0/43a1090a-bf00-11...l#axzz2XZgv7r5p Institutional investors have been consistent sellers of ETFs since late last year, and net outflows from the sector totalled 177 tonnes in the first quarter, according to the World Gold Council, the lobby group for gold miners. Gold demand totalled 963 tonnes, down 13 per cent in the first three months of the year, compared with the same time last year, said the council. QUOTE(tikaram @ Jun 28 2013, 09:41 AM) worst... Cant go up already. Too much supply. Go down may be. But no pressure to sell yet. So decide . No right or wrong. Like casino bet red or black. But at least u not likely to loose much unless u borrow heavy. Lol

cherroy boss, gold prices and property prices do have some common points lah.
so if we discuss gold prices here, think it's fair but just need to remind ourselves not to get too carried away about gold discussions. after all, both are perceived as main tools to hedge against inflation, right? |

However, the fact is that it can go 12 time RED in a row too..... Real life experience too (but in Banker/Player)! This post has been edited by AppreciativeMan: Jun 29 2013, 12:13 PM |

Lol but the information out there is not black or red casino wo.more units empty export drop import up mrt increase land supply private consumption is depent on loan and cheap credit and will only go up further due to higher blr soon = consumer economy GDP drop private bus investment is mainly on services 72% and not manufacturing 25% Govt spending will only rising due to more payroll , pension and more interest paid on borrowing/ sukuk competitiveness going down balance of trade getting worst govt budget continue to be in deficits public debt 456, private debts 988 ceiling of p debts to GDP is now 53% only 2% from cap of 55% = ok ok...we still can do TARP. why so many expect economy here don't see it.? it is more RED or BLACK for property? U don't need to believe what I said... but, I believe knowledge make money ..... |

True. Price can go down thats for sure. But thats require owners to sell big time. Only the sellers can tell . Mb the answer is when. But if one can hang on ok . Only high debt problem. That is the black or red. No one knows. Ur next roll........ very exciting. Lol.

From my little observation of the market I think there is a mixture of BBB and DDD.
BBB - There is an uptrend for landed property in Klang Valley. This BBB trend is somehow continuing. Besides landed props, people are also BBB good apartments and condos in PJ. People are willing to borrow from their families to buy such a house. DDD- I am begining to notice a little downtrend in apartments in Klang, some far places in Puchong as well as Kajang. Just a little observation on my side. |

Sometimes we have to be flexible. Takkan we discuss sth relevant to gold and when the chat go deeper into gold, we ask everyone go to Gold Thread, right.
