all this kinda applications = very general.. and yes, u gotta kno which application dat u wanna run, dat won't eat ya resources.. for a 512MB, I wud recommend juz a VS and objectdock/rklauncher.. I ran Samurize n VSStyle back when i was on P4 1.8+256MB ram tho..

nice hybrid wallie bro... anyway, ya samurize, is d music area izzit? care to share the "stickies" effect?

There's a "Shadow" checkbox in the Display tab..
either that or you can use TextFX plugin.
