Is my phone really yellowish already?

Bound to happen sooner or later as the white area is uncoated plastic. Bad material choice by HTC. They should have use hyperglaze coating like in S4.

Flickering effect due to fluorescent (tube) lighting.

wow yellowish? should i drop my plan to get HTC One? alots of complaints...haiz..

Get the black version if this issue bothers you. I'm personally using the white version, and the white plastic is only on the sides and barely visible against the aluminium surfaces which are more obvious. It's a non-issue for me. rclxms.gif

5.8" too big ba no matter how good and sexy it is

It's hard for me to type one-handed on my HTC One but it's such a breeze to do it on my iPhone 5.

Pros and cons I guess. I look at my iPhone 5 now and find the puny screen really small! laugh.gif

Just sharing this newly released video (if someone posted earlier, sorry for reposting).

Great video of the history of HTC and how it all advanced to the HTC One! biggrin.gif

For those who have been gadget lovers since more than 10 years ago, you will surely reminisce those times! wub.gif

Just went to collect my one to one exchange, turned out even worse! Gap still exist, scratches and even poor plastic injection finish around the volume button, can dent on the plastics. Rejected and they said gonna be another week. I am so angry now, I wonder what can really be done now. Sigh

I am losing confidence on HTC's quality control. This is the most disappointing finishing in a product I've ever seen

That's HTC Malaysia service for you. Plenty of complaints on their Facebook.

Now just praying that nothing happens to my HTC One for the length of time I'm using it.

what car charger you using? i still cant find one that works properly with htc...
*
Would like to know as well.

My car has a 2.1 amp charger which I use to charge my iPhone 5, but won't dare to charge my HTC One with it. Totally understand that only 1 amp will be charged to it, but seems that the charging electronics in the HTC One is crap, and it will somehow not charge properly based on what I've read other users experienced.

Now, THANKFULLY the HTC One battery performance is quite good and I can even use Waze (GPS) for a considerably long amount of time without it hurting my battery charge for the day. biggrin.gif

There hasn't been even 2 complaints about the One's charging electronics  sweat.gif

Nothing wrong with charging using bundled AC charger. Only charging through vehicle that might cause issues. Still, not worth the risk to have the battery / phone damaged and the nice HTC Malaysia service will keep delaying on repairs and giving half-baked repairs even. laugh.gif

Ok, i tried the car charger come with my previous Nexus One car kit (2A). It just won't charging properly and the phone is very hot (47 degree).
*
Yes, this is a good example.

I know many people have posted earlier that as long as your car charger outputs 1A or more (including 2A or 3A), the HTC One will only take in 1A and won't cause damage to it, as scientifically speaking, they are right. But then again, there's more to it than meets the eye? brows.gif

Since people's experience tells otherwise, it would be wise NOT to use car chargers for the time being unless they are manufactured to officially support HTC One.

Any other thoughts? The car charger is heck of convenient for my iPhone 5, and I'm also wishing I could have the same convenience with my HTC One. sad.gif

Is it a 1A charger? Have photo? How's the charging time compared to AC bundled charger? Perhaps I will go look for it also. biggrin.gif

You might want to read this post if you're expecting that charger to be safe wink.gif

I'm gonna try now smile.gif

yeah. thanks for sharing the link. I guess better to use the bundled a/c charger to be safe and only use non-HTC car chargers on emergency basis only. sweat.gif
