Yay! So I called the Service Centre today and they told me that I should expect a new exchange on Tuesday, so excited but I also worried of what I am getting back. Such mixed feeling =(

I sent in mine on 23rd, please call them and push them harder for feedback, I literally gave the person the hairdryer treatment by asking her how does it make sense that there is not even a single bit of status update after I sent in my phone for half a week? It's just DOA claim, either I qualify or not qualify, if not qualify I should get back my set immediately, if qualify tell me when?

I didn't want to sound like a nagger but I was really unsatisfied with the silence of status. So after a day, HTC called me and told me I should get a new set approximately by next Tuesday.

Gap issue, A4 paper thin gap, small, nevertheless an issue

While listening to Podcast (by Steve Litchfield, he is quite fussy about speakers on phone), they have explained that the speaker construction, the large enclosure probably designed for better sound production, I don't claim to know what they talked about but I see similarity how light reflectors work.

Just went to collect my one to one exchange, turned out even worse! Gap still exist, scratches and even poor plastic injection finish around the volume button, can dent on the plastics. Rejected and they said gonna be another week. I am so angry now, I wonder what can really be done now. Sigh

I am losing confidence on HTC's quality control. This is the most disappointing finishing in a product I've ever seen
