If you dint s-off, you need to go thru HTC-DEV to UNLOCK your bootloader. If you S-off you does not need to go thru HTC-Dev to unlock bootloader which mean your information wont save in HTC database. And with S-OFF you can remove "Tampered" word in bootloader.

if already rooted is it necessary to s-off? will the information in HTC database will be remove?

i wanna ask.. i'm new to android and my HO already rooted..so how i can unroot? because 4.2.2 is coming out soon so i need to update my phone when it come out... i dont find any RUU for brightstar or SiS..

if im not mistaken i can only update official 4.2.2 with OTA only is true? or i can download it manually 4.2.2 and update manually through my phone.??
