After reading you guys discussion and i found out my top of the phone has kinda long stretch of gap too. A4 paper also can slide in.
Already texting my reseller if they can do 1:1 replacement. Just bought it last Saturday.

Reseller asked me to goto SIS. No one wanna do replacement one, big loss.

The bottom of the phone has no gap though.

I wished didn't read about the gap so i'd feel better. Sigh. So meaning SIS won't entertain me. :S

MISS RED came too late! I always wanted to get a red one but at the end bought silver last Saturday cos couldn't tahan dee. Ha !

Reseller asked me goto SIS.
SIS asked me go looking for HTC.

Not sure HTC would ask me go back to SIS again or not.

I still would like to hear what they say about it but the service experience....

I followed SIS instruction calling to HTC support line 1300-800-482. From the conversation, it seems they want to see how many ppl or handsets affected by GAP problem then may take special actions to address this issue.

The support rep wanted my imei to file official ticket. He also said I can send the email directly to HTC for filing my issue.

I work in pc industry so I know if there is high amount of complaint, the manufacturer would take actions such as treat this as real issue. Maybe recall or an official instruction to service partners to fix it or replace it rather than pointing us here and there without proper process of what to be done.

Just some sharing of my experience so far. It's up to those affected to consider filing ticket or not.

Mine is front. No matter what, how come the bottom ok but the top has gap? Both up and down have slight curve so should exhibit the same nature but it seems there is slight and tiny build defect.

But well, this phone is not cheap. 2.2k. So I just choose my way to let them know I'm a little bit not happy although the phone gives great experience in general. I can live with it but they should be aware of it. Dust may go in since A4 paper also can slide in. Would it clog things inside in the long run? I dunno....not expert...

I dun wanna solicit all ppl to be against them. It's ur choice. So beware. I'm not sure creating a thread as suggested may put us in trouble or not....

Kurogane, they replaced new one for u? Im so scared let it goto service centre cos scared of refurbished parts or phone.

I am thinking wanna go there tomorrow morning not cos will pass by there.

My phone if use whatsapp and surf net, which most of the time on Wifi (once a while on H mode), seems to drain pretty fast. like 14 hrs.

Waze consumed very much of power so I also seldom use already.

Yeah 801s has LTE.

Hmm..i turned on Power save mode but still.. i'm gonna monitor again and make changes accordingly to make the best out of it.

Hey guys, do u have any prob sharing photo using Share button? It used to show a list of places wanted to share such as fb, Whatsap,etc. Now mine just quickly off the list by itself so I can never share a photo.

Note: not using HTC share. just normal share only

Hi guys, do you know if possible to customize the feed source on BlinkFeed? I googled and seems not possible. Would like to for example feed malaysiakini, thestar, or other entertainment sites.
