So one day i was overclocking my 7970 and for one particular benchmarking i got around 110 FPS.

then i remove my gc and put two 4850 radeon to crossfire it after installing the driver.

finally after all the testing i changed back to my 7970 and carry out benchmark.

i was shocked that my FPS decreased to 80 point (initially 110 FPS)

then i thought i damage my chip or something.

i decided to format my whole system and the FPS goes back to 110 point.

i think messing up with driver will cause decrease performance to the system.

Correct me if i'm wrong : ) just wanna know whether driver will relate to performance.

could it be difference driver, difference performance.stick which the best when choosing gpu.

do some windows backup (like system restore)before replacing with other part.

i am just seeking for people who has the same problem.

i solved it just by reformatting my pc then the performance went up to normal again.

i assume its the driver problem, since i mess up a lot of driver from nvidia to amd (gtx 550ti/7970/7870xt/4850)

wanna know whether anyone that plays different graphic card on a system has this kind of problem before
