Yup caz he-400 is design for connecting to iPhone and so on. Then ohms is not high and easy to drive. But of course if you want it to perform well, you can buy amp to pair with it.

Prior to the purchase
of the X3 I am worried of the User Interface. At first operation
I can say the UI is better then Hisound player. Good sound as preview
all over holds true. Then the UI is a plus value.

May I know what is the firmware version of Fiio X3 you're carrying now?

Next batch is going to release on 25/7. Not sure FW1.00 or FW1.20. But even if it's FW1.00 you can just download FW1.20 from Fiio website and just upgrade.

hifiman 603 and fiio x3 which one is better ?

Sorry for the late reply. The price of these two are in big difference. RM1130 and RM675.
HM603 can be used as dac at home but X3 can't. X3 got additional coaxial output.

Size wise, X3 is smaller. Sound quality wise, 603 better. Depending on what you want. For size and price issue, people tend to choose x3 if it's for outdoor usage. But 603 can be use as dac, which means you don't have to purchase additional dac for home usage.

God news guys, the Fiio X3 now can be used as a USB DAC

Yupe. as soon as the firmware is updated, X3 can be used as a DAC.

One X3 serves dual purposes:
The official release of FiiO X3's new firmware (FW2.05) with newly added DAC function!

Some improvements to FW2.05 Based on the former FW.1.31 version, some improvements have been made into FW2.05.

1. Using the dedicated VID No. 2972 that applied by FiiO independently. Please reinstall the new USB DAC Driver to solve the prompt problem as “Android Device” by the PC manager.
2. “USB Mode” had been added into the system settings. Now X3 can be used as memory card as well as USB DAC.
3. Formatting function had been added into the system settings, by which can format the TF card.
4. The limitation of gapless playback for album only had been removed. Now the gapless can work when it is ON for Order or Loop playback (not for Single cycle or Shuffle play).
5. Fixed the issue that, it shows MOV for the coding information when change the suffix from M4A to AAC, now can display normally as AAC.
