I have been working out for about 3 weeks now.

My workouts are normally structured like this:

30 mins on the treadmill as warmup
3 sets of 10 reps for various machines based on the target muscle, with increasing weightage of 10kg each rep
- usually divide muscle areas as chest, abs, limbs, back spread across all week
10 mins on the treadmill as cooldown

i do this at least 4 times a week. this is the most hardworking i have been all my life, but i think i am not getting enough rest.

yesterday i went for the legs, doing leg presses, curls and extensions.

usually the day after i will feel super sore, but nowadays i don't feel sore anymore.

is it that my body is now used to working out, or should I increase the difficulty of my training?

this happens when i started to eat at least 2 boiled eggs every morning.

I usually treat it as a sign that I'm stronger ..

I thought of this point too, so I purposely increased the weight/resistance in the machines that I used yesterday.

No soreness today. It felt like I did not work out at all yesterday.

Did I just hit the plateau or something? Or maybe I should vary my workout a bit, like swimming instead of brisk walking, use the free weights instead of machines.

Did some search around the net and found some articles:

Apparently no soreness doesn't mean you are not building muscle. It means the body is getting used to the workout. I need to push myself with new routines!

Not heavy enough it seems... must make sure I maintain the correct form each lift. Will try again tomorrow.

Today is rest day!
