QUOTE(nghj @ Oct 29 2006, 12:02 AM) yupe, the prinsip behind ccfl is that they must be heated to work. maybe u can read it up on the internet. most of the problems faced with ccfl is not the tube, but the inverter which keeps getting spoilt Glad to hear from that..then i shud not worry to put my CCFL under my psu

QUOTE(Acey @ Oct 28 2006, 06:55 PM) Theres not much heat there also. Besides, you'll want your CCFL to heat up, not cooled. Try blowing an intake fan at part of ur CCFL and see the difference in colour with the parts that are fully heated Erm..truely got no idea bout temperatures can actually affect the ccfl..btw,ccfl shud be working well and fine under certain tempereature, rite? QUOTE(rainingzero @ Oct 29 2006, 01:53 AM) i'm placing my Uv vvfl under the PSU.no problem at all.... i never letting my UV on for 24/7.the effect not nice during daylight...hehhe Oo..it was releif when i saw ur post..cos my casing are running out of space..and i have to insert any space that are available QUOTE(LittleLinnet @ Oct 29 2006, 01:58 AM) you can on it for 24/7 if u got proper cooling on the inverter. The ccfl itself is not easy to burn, but the inverter Yup..that's wut i heard mostly is the inverter will get spoil b4 the CCFL

Basically inverter is to connect ur ccfl tube and some is sound activation which means ur ccfl is bling bling accordingly to sound sensitive...i think market don sell the inverter itself seperately..it comes with whole set
