any advice on ig vs navi?

both teams are very inconsistent. however the odds for ig are kinda tempting thanks to all the navi fanbois and the last 2 times i bet against ig i lost all my rares. most probably gonna bet 2 omni hammers on ig.

1. That's what refraction is for. The aim of Meld against a QoP is to dodge the dagger i.e. only Meld once the dagger projectile is visible.
2. A good TA will keep moving to keep psi blades in your direction. Refraction will make it easy to outfarm & outdeny you.
3. Once TA hits level 3, QoP will lose the lane for sure. Your only hope is to outlane the TA and land a couple of successful ganks to compensate for the exp you're losing by abandoning the lane.

It's not a player problem, the two heroes just aren't on equal footing. This matchup has been discussed in full on Reddit and I'm just parroting the results of the discussion.

there's no use discussing about a certain hero's strength when against another hero. it's all up to the players who play them. not all heroes are limited to one playstyle. food for thought: qop lv1 double salve + tango

EDIT: also, the dota2 subreddit is full of people who only talk about things theoretically only. most of them do not have enough experience and skills to be able to pull off what they're mentioning. i'd not take anything they've said seriously if i were you.

lol what happens if the support pools qop a set of sentry? heck she can even buy it herself. it's worth the investment.

Mostly u wont do that... Even for pro teams, i dont see them buying sentries just for them to shadow strike TA while melded...

ni discussi ape ni. ta lawan qop, every game different situation la. no matter if u buy sentry or not, if u stimulate both side on equal skill lvl and last hit, if come down to rune luck. ta got haste gank success= early lvl qop lose, and qop got rune dd/haste go gank success= early lvl ta lose.

are you sure they don't? it's been a long time since i last watched qop vs ta mid in competitive games. and most teams will try to dodge this match-up.

Yes ive definitely witness few games with TA vs QOP mid before... Just cant remember the team names...

it is rare to see qop 1 v 1 mid against ta wif qop having sentries early, in fact i don rmb if i seen this b4...its not like ta keep uses meld to farm or harass, just refraction to get cs is enuf...supports coming to gank with sentry see many times b4 la

qop has the range advantage and skill 1+right click to harass too...like many said its not clear cut who has the advantage because different ppl play style is different

good TA > good QoP
bad QoP > bad TA

Where is the 3rd guy... Techies should have 3 people! The 3rd is in the barrel in between the 2 in Dota 1 hero model... Only can see legs though... Looks ugly though =P
