QUOTE(andykok @ Dec 22 2014, 03:37 PM) hi bro, D15 can fit into the S340 ? according to nzxt website , the cpu cooler height is only 161mm right ? how did u make it ? D15 height is only 160mm so it will fitbecause i m thinking to change my case to this thank you but the problem is the fan, i can only mount one fan on the middle only i cannot mount the fan on top of the ram as my ram heatspreader too tall push the height up..i also cannot mount another fan near the case exhaust fan as my motherboard I/O also push the fan high up so it depends on your motherboard and ram from my googling even be quiet dark rock pro 3 fits into S340 |

QUOTE(andykok @ Dec 22 2014, 03:55 PM) thank for clarify it ... at least can mount one on the middle is not bad.. D15 is huge but it's very very easy to install..the mounting system is so well designed..but you want one of the best air cooler its gonna be huge hehebtw, when i look again your picture , d15 so scary so u can still put one exhaust fan at the rear of case right ? even with single fan temp is still great on my oced 4790K, such big cooler wont have issue handling the heat rear exhaust is not a problem, i even use my trusty 38mm panaflo fan as exhaust with mm clearance from the D15 in review they say the case is easy to scratch, even on my not so careful build process i didnt cause any unwanted scratch..it's not really that bad it seems |

QUOTE(andykok @ Dec 22 2014, 05:45 PM) hahaha~ you are right, D15 is very one of the best air cooler, can find many reviews about this monster for the front fan if you just wana put fan there for airflow is better to buy fans with high cfm fanthen it is a good news, if i wanna upgrade to D15 for better cooling, then don have to worry so much. actually, i don really care about what others say about easy to scratch here scratch there, since after installation, i wont go and touch it everyday.. lol again, thank you for sharing your experience with that S340 one more question , i am stuck in choosing what type of fan to put at the front (2 x 120mm) is it better to put high static pressure fan or high CFM fan? thinking to buy noctua fan for that case i'm also researching what fan to put on the front..noctua redux looks kinda the good option but not cheap..silverstone air penetrator series another good option because its not that expensive but i dont like the colour haha |

QUOTE(chaosneo @ Jan 2 2015, 05:11 PM) QUOTE for those interested in NZXT S340, i found this person doing mod on it. he also did some sound dampening on it as well. which were pretty awesome. gives me a good idea on the PSU hole cover as well. ![]() http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/271164...0-modbuild-log/ » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « case so cheap use NB eloop fans hahaone thing i hate is the usb3 cable, too long its cumbersome to hide it..worst on my mobo the header is just below the 24pin i see you guys all buy white..i prefer black |
