For those that did the transfer in of funds from bank to FSM, did you guys paid RM50 transfer fee?

I'm not sure if it's the bank who is charging or FSM. So reluctant to pay.
*
WTFish?!! shocking.gif
RM50 transfer fee? Overseas to FSM or domestic to overseas' FSM?

I've done SCB --> FSM (iFAST SCB) & MBB --> FSM (iFast MBB), no such RM50 fees.
In addition, i think now max now is RM0.10 (yup all of TEN cents tongue.gif) charges even inter-bank, for online transfers by BNM.

More details would be useful - call yr bank, unless RM50 is chump-change to U brows.gif
(self-talk... RM50.. i can live 1 month+ for working lunch on that)

Is there any tools that can allow us to grab all the NAV per fund in the platform we desire (FSM / PM) and export them in an excel?

I know past performance not equals future indication, but can use as monitoring tool such as
*
FSM's 30 days' NAV data can be imported DIRECTLY into Excel
In Excel 2010: Click on "Data" (top menu bar), then "From Web".
Once U've built the link to the specific web pages U want to korek data from, in future just "Data" --> "Refresh All"

OR

Copy & paste directly to Excel for keep a historical tracking

I just phoned Eugene, CIMB and Maybank is a no no. Guess I'd have to sell and diversify the fund later onĀ  sweat.gif

bro - sell the donkey funds AND buy others from FSM at 0% NAV lar
"Transfer in" program
I did it with Public Mutual equity & bon funds (non existent in FSM)
+ will be doing the damned problematic EastSpring Investments' coz bleeding agent REFUSES to sign-off to allow the transfer

ie. i redeem from Pub Mut / EastSpring,
show proof to FSM,
FSM allows me to buy into equity/bond at same amount i redeemed at 0% NAV

Speak to your favorite investment advisor in FSM (Eugene, Andy, er.. no hot kuci mama though tongue.gif)
and cut a deal / get the process right.

(or did i miss something? it's "just a fund transfer" from a fund that doesn't exist in FSM right?)

Just a thought on possibilities notworthy.gif

How do we calculate pivot points in UT?

Following Wikipedia's explanation.
But in UT, there's no daily opening / closing.

Bro,

Not too right a tool,
for a different animal.

Short-term trading methodologies doesn't work well with mutual funds
due to
+service charges way higher
+several underlying assets (eg. several stocks + a few money market/short term bonds +cash)
+no real time data

Just to share (was news to me but maybe old to U tongue.gif):
every 6th referral, the token is 0.5% service charge

thus, one gets 1% service charge token for referrals 1-5
6th get 0.5%. Woohoo!

Just noticed 2 sets of % in my transaction today, thus called & Jennifer clarified.

Plan to sell some Reits stocks as well?

REITs stocks? so far, nope
All hitting or over-achieving my DY% reason for buying
er.. in fact, bought another time into LippoMalls (SGX) when it fell like a stone earlier in June tongue.gif

even MORE stuff like "Risk profiling" and customers can't buy any funds out of their profiling
fyi - donkey risk profiling needed EVERY DONKEY TIME i want to buy a new fund.

Anyhow, that EPF thinggy - is by EPF, thus it'll be across the board sooner or later.

For ppl with I-Akaun, just have to go online to print, simple

the concern some may have is:
Anyone who sees that form, can calculate backwards to derive one's pay and even bonus

If customer doesn't want agent, agent's friends/family, admin and even fund house to know their pay & bonus details... how?

Cover one thing, expose so many other private data. Knee-jerk "security" requirement IMHO.

bit the bullet - finally did me first SWITCH in FSM.
Kinda painless - intra SWITCHing.
hehe - next to try inter SWITCHing - dunno how confusing yet tongue.gif

Switched out of AMAP REITs exJ to Ambond
coz long term trend went to hell a month+ ago (bought this bunch based on Trend entry)
+ the entire thing looks too frothy (REITs in AP generally + great run of REITs for 2years+ until recent month or two)
+ upping my dry powder (fixed income) to a bit more 41.xx%

Shd have done so earlier about a month or two back but was hog-tied with work + family concerns doh.gif
i gotta get me one of those PAs... hot, sweet and do-able (follows instructions on monitoring & pulling triggers lar - what U thinking tongue.gif)

Anyhow, IMHO, S&P will be coming down OR emerging markets/Asia going up within 6-8 mths.
Hunch: Ignoring the Federal Reserve many IFs, most emerging markets VS S&P is having some disjoint these few months.

S&P keeps going up, emerging markets keep going down/up/down (generally stagnant OR down).
Look at BRICs, SG, Indonesia, Thailand, etc. er.. i'm ignoring gravity & logic defying MY due to bomoh Khazanah & EPF (powerful magik neh tongue.gif)
Of course some speculate it's due to flight of $ back to US.
I dont know - all i know is i see a disjoint and when one side becomes lopsided... brows.gif
