Add : Emerging equity, International, Emerging/Corporate bond, US Value, Cash, Commodities

Avoid : Government Bond, International Bond, REIT, US Small & largecap,

Avoid US small and large caps liao...so, Europe under "International"? unsure.gif

Add on more Asia ex-Japan? My Asia ex-Japan + GEM weighting already at a very high 75%, still add on? sweat.gif

Really dunno what to buy already...to save my hair from falling more, maybe just top up proportionately in the coming months, just maintain portfolio structure doh.gif

QUOTE(Kaka23 @ Jul 24 2013, 09:32 PM)
Oh.. Neutral outlook means still can give better then FD return?

AmDynamic Bond has been steadily going up lately, it's about time to give up some ground. Mine IRR from 6%++ dropped back to 5%++, still more than decent to me

Awesome. It has only 1.2% exposure in China.

It has quite substantial exposure in developed countries.

My ROI is 5.96% and XIRR is 11.76%
*
Consistent with the style of its Singapore-based sister fund, just that no financials, tobacco and brewery biggrin.gif

Now I'm tempted tongue.gif

Bro, you know the reason behind right? This is a Shahriah compliant fund. What do you expect?
*
U mean GEYF rode on the rally of financials? hmm.gif

Last time I actually weighed between these 2 combo:

18% OSK-UOB GEYF
18% Aberdeen Islamic World

vs

24% OSK-UOB GEYF
12% Pacific GSF

I decided on the latter, GEYF to get the steady dividend income and long-term growth, PGSF to bet on beaten down value stocks. wink.gif

I think you better remain 50-50 in UT. As overall you already 70-30, so I think based on your risk appetite discussing here, it is already high for you.

For me, I will also go to 70 max for equities. If not will worry...
*
my local stocks volatility quite low, luckily tongue.gif

TakoC,

When one day your equity funds grown so much that AmDynamic Bond as % of your entire portfolio drops a lot, which bond fund would u buy? Since AmDy already closed...

Who is selling their AmAPAC REITS?
*
not selling, but not topping up. Topping up other funds so that % for AmAsia Pac REITs goes down.

Top up Hwang Select Asia Opportunity...RM100. Last day to buy at 1% and get the new units reflected on month-end statement tongue.gif

Seems mid term outlook for REITS not good lei, thinking to leave it or sell part of it.. If sell part of it, at least the money can put to more potential equity fund to grow a bit.. tongue.gif
*
how big is AmAsiaP REITs in your portfolio? Mine only 4.6%, so no big deal keeping it

How long have you been holding OSK-UOB GEYF?
*
I don't split between realised and unrealised gains/losses.

I bought into GEYF during 2008-09 (at 5.26% SC thru bank), sold all for quite a handsome profit (about 10% ROI).

Then 2010 when I moved to FSM I re-invest in it, but suffered a small loss.

Then recently in 2012 re-invest in GEYF again thru FSM.

The 10% IRR takes takes into account all of the above.

In a hindsight, should have remained invested throughout. smile.gif
