QUOTE(Pink Spider @ Jul 2 2013, 02:11 PM) Today top up RM200 on OSK-UOB EM Bond What is the major factor causing your IRR drop to below 5% Still dare to buy bond? My objective this year is to increase my equity:bond exposure to 40:60. This post has been edited by TakoC: Jul 2 2013, 02:28 PM

Pink, that is a lot of red.
Kaka, 6% ROI? That is low. I thought you are holding HAQ? Shouldn't that contribute to around 10% of your total ROI?

QUOTE(Pink Spider @ Jul 2 2013, 11:03 PM) EIGEM from IRR of 4%+ dropped to 0%. That's volatility for u The worst is...PGSF. But what's -6%? Back in the old days before FSM, the moment u sign the purchase form, your holdings would go down 5-6% from the sales charge Hahaha! True that! FSM called me today and said that they can't come up with a deal to waive or absorb the transfer fee for me. So I decided to leave my funds with that bank. No harm, so yeah.. QUOTE(David83 @ Jul 3 2013, 07:43 AM) What fund and which bank? AmDYNAMIC. OCBC bank. FSM confirmed that it's not charged by the fund house but the bank, and so I cancelled the transfer in.

QUOTE(Kaka23 @ Jul 3 2013, 09:03 AM) Ya HAQ giving me 10% or so. I just started to invest using EPF before the correction and amount is almost the same as my HAQ holding, so it drag down my ROI and IRR Why make it so complicated? Just combine both cash and EPF. It does not justify your returns if you seperate both EPF and cash investment. Unless you report as follows.. Cash investment ROI (%) EPF investment ROI (%) Total : xx%

QUOTE(Pink Spider @ Jul 3 2013, 09:17 AM) No benefit of transferring in other than to obtain silver or gold status. Are u silver already? Separate your EPF from your cash investments lar No. Sadly. I'm small fish only I'm really a big fan of Hwang fund, and I believe Hwang fund is not entitled to any benefits to any of the lower SC right?

QUOTE(Pink Spider @ Jul 3 2013, 09:56 AM) Yeah, no special discount for silver/gold/platinum Nvm lar, 2% is good enough compared to 5.5% if u buy thru banks My Asia ex Japan exposure relies on HwangIM GEM...Schroders@Singapore (Target Fund for EIGEM) Global...UOB Asset Management So no point anyway Now that I have both HSAO and HSAQ. I'm thinking of getting rid of PGSF and replace with CIMB Global Titans or Eastspring Investments Global Leader. Slowly lar. Long way to go

QUOTE(Pink Spider @ Jul 3 2013, 10:28 AM) Instead of dumping it outright, why not consider to keep it? Just stop topping up It'll depends on future performance. Currently I'm having 3 funds investing in Asia market. Invested in HSAQ to diverse my risk in small capital market. Now have to diversify out of Asia market. But slowly lar. UT investment is like a marathon, not a 100m sprint

Actually looking at Hang Seng index, it's really foolish. 1 day drop 400 points, next day rise 300 points. Huh?

QUOTE(aoisky @ Jul 5 2013, 10:50 PM) what do you think r ? is PGSF still a potential fund ? Personally I think there is still room for growth for PGSF. i believe that what's come down must go up someday. Don't mind too much of the losses if you're holding this fund. You're investing, not trading UT. To me, if my total portfolio is well above my target return and my other funds can cover the loss, I'm happy
