Hi guys, first time iPad user. Curious on how do I stream music/ YouTube in the back ground while I do work in other apps. I read this on the net but it does not work for me

Tried this too, but same thing
The play button gets highlighted when I tap on it but the song does not continue to stream..

Any other suggestions for me? I've already upgraded to the latest version of the software.

Can't multitask with the stock Youtube App. I use 3rd party app like McTube to play the music in the background. Can download Youtube video some more

Is it the same method with the mc tube? But can't we use web YouTube instead of YouTube papas said in the web searches as above?

That I'm not sure. I remember doing it with my browser youtube app tho. Sometimes it work. Sometimes it don't.

Does not work with my youtube on safari

McTube can play the music in background automatically? w/o the need of all that double tapping ?

before the patch that removes the native youtube and google map app,youtube is able to play music at background.after that patch,google's own youtube app doesn't support background play

But even on web YouTube it does not play

Tried it on iTunes it works...weird

free mp3 download and free video download app in app store all can listen to music in background
unless you open an app that have its own sound like games, then those app will stop their audio

hoping that quasar (a jb tweak for real multitask) will be available for ios 6+ later
