No lar...this Ping Pong's 60% paper gain is my FIRST TIME EVER. sweat.gif

Take this chance to diversify lor... icon_rolleyes.gif

If the stock fundamentals is still good why sell... unless you think the profits is reducing or the stock over value, then it is good to sell.

In stock investing it is better you aim for 'baggers' typically 10 baggers.... each bagger is a 100% gain.

Think big! laugh.gif

Fundamentals still good...but I doubt that growth will accelerate lor...

Unker u said before mar, if found another stock with better yield, can switch out mar unsure.gif

Ping Pong yield is based on almost 100% payout ratio

The alternative I found is on 80%...got room for special divvy and/or more divvy hmm.gif
*
What is the alternative stock? laugh.gif ... don't forget to look at dividend & free cash flow growth.. wink.gif

Gambling stock...not the Vincent Tan one

It behaves somewhat like a REIT lor...regular divvy, committed payout of min. 80%...

Growth? Stagnant to a bit lor...
*
Magnum...! Hahah I am also looking at it previously.. laugh.gif looks interesting about 4.5% divvy but special dividend chance extremely slim tongue.gif

4.5%? But it looks on track to pay 5 sen per quarter wor...

20 sen / 3.24 = 0.0617 unsure.gif
*
Their dividend policy is 80%-85% of net earnings.

TTM earnings is 18.6 cents, current price is 3.24

Dividend = 18.6 x 0.85 = 15.81 cents

15.81/324 x100= 4.87%

Previous divvy payment...
Dividend 2013 = 15 cents
Dividend 2012 = 16 cents
Dividend 2011 = 15 cents

P/S Magnum don't pay all 4 Quarters 1... they do skip a Q here and there

Unless you get extra special 5c divvy then will be higher for this year. wink.gif

*Ouch*

Tonight go do an in-depth look into its financials and past dividends...

Wait, they've just divested their non-core stuff, only recently became a focused gambling unit. Past cannot be relied on doh.gif
*
Yeah but earnings never lie right... tongue.gif If they earn 18 cents, buy pay 20 cents it cannot go on forever... laugh.gif

Anyway interesting stock.. I am also looking at it .. it is almost reit like but i prefer at least > 5% as the earnings not stable like reit

Earnings may go up and down.

*Puts on anal hat*

Gambling...in the long run, the House wins. And House always put the stats/probability in such ways that occasional big payouts will not harm their profitability innocent.gif

Punters will only grow...young ppl learn to buy 4D...old ppl buy until enter coffin laugh.gif
*
The latest Q report is already divested their other earnings...so it is reflective of future earnings.. but net 4.6 cents only. tongue.gif whistling.gif

Younger people more educated... buy less 4D.. cause calculate odds against them unless those 'abeng' laugh.gif

bonus issue and stock split theoretically has zero effect on your holding value

plan to reduce my holding some more and transfer the money to other stocks...Axis REIT maybe, DiGi maybe hmm.gif
