QUOTE(joytest @ May 27 2013, 12:52 AM) Don't know why, perhaps it's due to a better sleep function? I occasionally use DL managers, but I find the dl interrupted when the phone goes to sleep. Maybe I haven't set it properly The iOS download manager are so much better which is why i am still keeping iphone5. Nice clean interface and virtually max out the bandwidth available. I have no idea, but it seems that FallenOut has been doing this for some time now. I am still stuck with iOS due to readdledocs , goodreader , 1password and iGet No substitute in the Android part , doesnt even come close |

QUOTE(joytest @ May 27 2013, 01:04 AM) readdledocs , goodreader , 1password Yeah tried ezpdf, doesnt come close to what readdledocs can do plus jerky when sliding thru pdf and image. I did a quick google. EZPDF is good as a PDF reader, and a couple of other good alternatives exist. 1password now has an Android version. Even Papago is on Android. Readdledocs PDF annotate feature is available in EZPDF. And of course quite a number of office viewers/editors exist, but if you want to use these it is more practical on a larger screen device. iGet, I don't know since I normally don't perform downloads on the phone. 1password is read only for Android Android download manager is Papago bought for iOS , feel a little waste to purchase it again for android ma Other than that i am good with Android. In fact i have more reason to stick with Android now Just those apps are my daily driver so kinda stuck with it until the dev port it over. No choice |

QUOTE(((Xa))0102 @ May 27 2013, 01:27 AM) Reventon 11 hours SOT on iphone ? I never got that before stock or jailbroken. I only know if I use my iphone then prepare to charge 3 times at least per day.I have to agree a jailbroken iPhone 5 is still one of the best phones out there... I still love my jailbroken iPhones are because it has things like Activator, SBSettings and tonnes of themes to play with. Not to mention 11 hour SOT for a full charge. Lots of optimized apps in the wild as well. However, there are still alternatives for your apps. But i'm very sure that Papago is on Android for a very long time since i've been using it since my HTC Desire HD days I know android have papago , I already bought for iOS version so buying it again for android kinda waste money to me. |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Jun 7 2013, 04:26 PM) Price drop when 128GB come only. Last time bought 1GB SD card for RM499. Somewhere around 2004 if not mistaken. Slot into O2 XDA II . Which is RM3699 IIRC My most expensive device would be O2 and Dopod. Luckily smartphone now are more affordable. This post has been edited by Reventon: Jun 7 2013, 05:20 PM |

QUOTE(arslow @ Jun 7 2013, 06:03 PM) i remember lusting over the N92...good thing my first ever phone was the s2 lol..before that all used phone from someone haha.nokias, motorolas.... If you are going for S4 LTE , then the buying point over Note 2 will be LTE and..?btw, i can sell my note 2 for 1.2k and top up 700 for an LTE S4 AP but doing that is dumb as I'll be sacrificing batt life, though I would say the octa has pretty good batt. A friend had close to 48 hours uptime with 4.5 hours SOT, 7 % left. not bad for a standard non phablet smartphone |

QUOTE(alcali @ Jun 16 2013, 08:53 PM) I never manage to get whatsapp databases (chat log) backed up with TiBu...safest is to copy the whole whatapps folder to external sdcard. Earlier few version of TiBu has already fixed the whatsapp backup chat history. I have no problem to backup chat history with TiBu now. Working perfectly now. You never update your TiBu ?the chat log is in sdcard\WhatsApp\Databases always make backup from the whatsapp chat settings first. then only copy out the whatsapp folder to external sdcard. when restoring whatsapp from TiBu...don't launch whatsapp yet..copy the backed up folder from external sdcard back to sdcard (at root directory) |

QUOTE(alcali @ Jun 16 2013, 09:06 PM) opsss...I mean the files in sdcard\WhatssApp\Databases...those files never get backed up with tibu TiBu doesnt backup the media which you received or sent out. All the chat history are well backup. So if any media or file its better backup separately via es file explorer.btw...I do see my whatsapp messages on some contact dating to 2011. |
