Like this how to sell our used Note2?  cry.gif

Good question. I don't intend to sell mine, but it seems that the price crash this year is really bad. I've seen the XZ crash quickly, and the S3, and now Note 2 as well. Even S4 3G price has crashed very rapidly.

Don't know about H1 coz it's still in short supply but both XZ and H1 threads have dropped to an extremely slow pace for LAST QUARTER's flagships....

aigoo..my bad..yup its..*#0011#..from the ServiceMode line 2..if RRC State: IDLE..than your operator got FD..if so no need to disable FD..mine just showed DCH, PCH and FACH..never IDLE..so have to disable FD to eliminate secril_fd-interface wakelock..
*
My ServiceMode screen is blank bro.....only when I select WiFi does a very brief screen of these readings show then it is replaced by the wifi readings. I recall that I DID get to see these values before on the stock ROM.
Now on Assassin w Perseus 36.3

I'm in Du@lnote..seeing it just fine as of this very moment..not sure if its your custom rom..maybe other Assassin user can verify?
*
Yeah...

andrewtho

can you try typing *#0011# in your dialer and report what you see?

I see ServiceMode in the title, but the rest of the screen is blank.

It's supposed to show some readings of telco network related info.

Hahaha ok thanks.

Was browsing XDA and found this:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.p...postcount=11006

Hi,

For RILJ wakelock,

Toggle Airplane Mode - Reboot - Remove Airplane Mode - See if wakelock still persists.

For Gtalk_async_conn wakelock,

Dowload DisableService via Play Store.

Go to System Apps

Search and open Google Services Framework and open it.

Search for GTalkService and remove the check.

For GPS Daemon wakelock,

I have a lot of freaking weird solutions because this was a real culprit on my device.

But for a first solution,

Download Terminal Emulator via Play Store.

Type: su
(Enter)
Type: killall gpsd
(Enter)
(Exit)

See if that works for you.

Try this , dunno if it works for Note2
Dial  *#9900# in the dialler to get into the SysDump screen then select the Fast Dormancy option . Should be able to disable it
*
QUOTE(Superman7 @ Jun 16 2013, 01:08 AM)
I think it only works on Note 1
*
Got the SysDump screen with lots of options...but no FastDormancy anywhere.

Unless it's called SecLog ?

Update:SecLog is some kind of log. This screen is for system log dumps.

Are you on Assassin rom already?  tongue.gif

Yes, since last night....around 24hrs already. Perseus 36.3. Sadly SOT isn't any better than my previous stock + perseus 35.

Only times I ever had good SOT was when I did a factory reset, and a few days back where I was on wifi the whole day.

hi guys, i wanted to buy note 2, can anyone suggest me whether to buy Ap or ori set? i have read alot about the difference online, but is better if anyone here have first hand experience for ap/ori set difference. and can anyone suggest a trustable seller to get my new set? thanks!
*
Hi first off, there is NO TECHNICAL DIFFERENCE if you buy genuine sets whether it is SME or parallel import. I prefer these terms as they are the correct one.

The parallel import set depends on the seller. Where did you read online about differences?

Known sellers in LYN are SatuGadget, Alieamin and DirectD. They sell both SME and parallel import sets.

so from this reading it is false to assume that when RCC state shows IDLE is an indicator that operator supports FD? So the best workaround is to monitor the secril wakelock right?
*
That seems to be the case, but it probably doesn't fully solve the problem coz our telcos do not yet support FD.

yes i saw that, seems like alot ppl are suggestiing directd and satu gadget, but i cant see directd selling ap set here, maybe i will just pm them. ap set are cheaper for rm150 and longer warranty (?if not mistaken)
*
What does "longer warranty" really mean? It means that the seller has to carry some stock of parts. If they don't ? They could possibly replace it with some spares from other sets they have lying around.

You should read the T's & C's since the 2 years probably only applies to the mainboard.

anyone got any readings on the LED notification patterns

why sometimes the LED is in white color and the other time it can be in green colour for the same Whatsapp/Wechat notifications, the green LED blinking like breathing frequency

I notice the blue LED is more for Gmail/FB though, and the frequency of the blinking is the slowest among all
*
Some apps allow you to change the notification light. Your whatsapp light could be different for single chat and group chat.

for those flashing new rom's, how do you go about restoring your whatsapp, viber, etc messages?

for sms, call logs i use sms backup+ which backs up to gmail and restore is just a download
*
Titanium Backup app+data restore.

Whatsapp also has a built in message backup and restore, and it seems SMS Backup+ now has support for Whatsapp messages as well.

There is another GO Backup & Restore Pro but personally i prefer Titanium Backup...but GO Backup & Restore Pro are much more simplified....just click on the tick with apps you want to safe and don't have to run through all the phone confusing files...
*
I used Go before on Note 1 and it was pretty good by handling backup of your messages via XML files to gmail. Then they stopped it and wanted you to login to their system and sent backups to their servers. Stopped using after that.
